My Day:

I deleted a few accounts of things I do not use. I find it personally important to do this, because I do not like thinking about that information being out there, forgotten.

In the morning I finished going over data from this week. I think it looks promising; I need to run stats.

I felt bloated and full today.

Then I took a walk, ate lunch, read some papers, did the RR, fell asleep on the floor, took a walk, made black bean brownie batter, and told myself I was going to read things relevant to work but read things relevant to my own interests instead.

A selection of today's readings:

Chou, S., & Mantzoros, C. (2014). 20 YEARS OF LEPTIN: Role of leptin in human reproductive disorders, Journal of Endocrinology, 223(1), T49-T62. Retrieved Jul 12, 2020, from https://joe.bioscientifica.com/view/journals/joe/223/1/T49.xml

Genazzani AD, Lanzoni C, Ricchieri F, et al. Acetyl-L-carnitine (ALC) administration positively affects reproductive axis in hypogonadotropic women with functional hypothalamic amenorrhea. J Endocrinol Invest. 2011;34(4):287-291. doi:10.1007/BF03347087

The role of falling leptin levels in the neuroendocrine and metabolic adaptation to short-term starvation in healthy men

Jean L. Chan, … , Johannes D. Veldhuis, Christos S. Mantzoros

Published May 1, 2003

Citation Information: J Clin Invest. 2003;111(9):1409-1421. https://doi.org/10.1172/JCI17490.

I also organized my notes folders and made a list of things to do. (Useful for knowing that I did not do enough things.)

Congrats.. you've found the secret entry!
