Day 2 of New Sleep Routine.

As a backup, I set my phone alarm for 7 AM, in case the clock on my stereo was still messed up. It wasn't. It is three minutes slow, so I have to adjust the clock just a little. Regardless, I woke up at 7 AM feeling rested and full of energy. This is despite actually falling asleep closer to 11 PM than 10 PM. The reason was due to the fact we didn't eat dinner until 8 PM. I still followed my night-time routine, and it seems to have paid off.

I slept almost all the way through the night. I did get up once to use the facilities, after which I promptly went back to bed and fell asleep without issue. This reminds me that I need to write my sleep log for the day.

So far today has been a win. I need to refuel with lunch and hopefully avoid a nap. Friday will be a real test, given that the weekend follows and who doesn't like to stay up late on weekends, watch movies and, eat popcorn- me for sure. I will have to work on doing a movie and popcorn earlier in the evening and or just the movie depending on when my family and I eat dinner. It all depends on if I am hungry for it.

I haven't felt this good in a long time. I am sitting here smiling and listening to an inspiring song as I put my thoughts down in this entry.
