We all want more, never less. We always crave to receive but never to give. We no more need to go hunt and strive to reproduce to survive, but rather manage our resources. Most usually that boils down to our time and money but it also resonates to a lot of different things. My perception is not based on karma and such philosophy, but rather minimalism. I rather believe that often the reason we can't reach what we are striving for is that we find it easy to accept and acquire, but very hard to leave and let go. We often buy new clothes but never get rid of the old ones we never wear. We want to have time for everything but still stay organized. And so on and so on. This is why i think it's important to master a discipline of "cleaning up our closets". Get rid of the things you don't need in order to make a place for a fresh ones. For the ones that can really bring us joy.
