These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AYearAgo.Today (the “Service”), operated by Stealth Launch, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), located in Puerto Rico. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. When you create an account, you confirm that you are 13 or older. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your login information secure and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You own the content you post and upload. You grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service. We hold no responsibility or liability for the content you post and upload.
We do not allow harassment, bullying, hate speech, or other abusive acts. Most community content should remain suitable for a general audience. If you find material that violates these Terms, please report the post.
Some journal entries may be marked by their authors as mature (18+ only). Mature entries may include lewd or adult topics. Authors are responsible for marking such entries correctly. Previews of mature entries are not shown in public listings.
To view a mature entry you must be signed in to an account. The first time you unlock mature content, you must provide your birthdate and confirm that you are 18 or older. We store that birthdate and 18+ agreement on your account. On later visits to mature entries, you must confirm again that you are 18 or older before the entry is shown; those later confirmations are for that visit only and are not stored as a new agreement.
You may not view mature content if you are under 18. Age confirmations are self-attested. We do not independently verify your identity or age beyond the information you submit, and we may deny or revoke access if we believe these rules are being abused.
The Service offers a free plan with limits on certain planner and log features (for example, a limited number of standalone habits, to-dos, projects, goals, and logs). Excess items may remain visible but locked until you free a slot or upgrade. Journaling, XP, and achievements remain available on the free plan as described on the site.
AYAT Premium (“Premium”) is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited planner and log capacity and other Premium features described on our pricing page. We may change Free or Premium features over time; material changes will be reflected on the site.
Premium is sold as a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly). Prices and billing intervals shown at checkout are the amounts you agree to pay, plus any applicable taxes. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms where they apply to payment processing.
We may enable automatic tax calculation. Where tax applies, it will be collected as shown at checkout or on your invoice.
You may cancel Premium at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your Premium / billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep Premium access until the end of the current paid billing period. After that period ends, your account returns to the free plan, and free-tier limits and locks apply.
Except where required by law, all Premium fees are non-refundable. We do not refund partial billing periods or unused time after cancellation.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry the charge. If Premium is no longer in an active or trialing status, we may suspend Premium features until payment succeeds or you resubscribe.
As a user of this website, your content and account can be deleted at any time for any reason. This is so we can remove abusive posters and posts. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If your account is terminated for abuse while Premium is active, we are not obligated to refund remaining time.
All information and functionality provided by AYearAgo.Today is served on an as-is and as-available basis. AYearAgo.Today makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees of any kind regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, availability, or suitability of the information and functionality on this website. Any reliance you place on this website is at your own discretion and risk. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or any particular service level.
In no event will AYearAgo.Today or Stealth Launch, LLC, which owns and operates AYearAgo.Today, be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation any loss or damage whatsoever arising in connection with, or from the use of, this website, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our total liability related to Premium purchases will not exceed the amounts you paid us for Premium in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
We take no responsibility for and will not be liable for AYearAgo.Today being offline or unavailable due to any technical issues or difficulties beyond our control or understanding.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law. Continued Premium subscription after notice of material billing-related changes likewise constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the courts located in Puerto Rico have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
