Small sections of the trees between the green summer ones were starting to radiate hues of orange and red. In the red brick path a canopy of concord blueish purple grapes and green vine leaves slowly changing to autumn colors shaded the path. The sound of cheerful clamour could be heard from people of all age groups. We were disappointed to see that Asian pears on the trees were mostly rotting while still attached to the branches, but as we reached the pathways walled by jona gold apples, there was plenty of fresh healthy fruit to pick from.
