It's been a little while since I have written a journal. It has been a crazy busy week and it doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. BF and I were supposed to move into our apartment on Saturday but unfortunately there was a problem and the Landlord couldn't meet us to give us the keys that day. Which made this entire week a little more stressful. I had to deliver a boat about 2 hours from home on Monday and so BF and I were staying at an Airbnb on Sunday which was a lot of fun! They had fresh baked bread and cookies for us and everything! We even got to visit with my great aunt who lives in the area. We spent a lot of the weekend talking about our future together. We agreed that this is it, we are endgame. It is an amazing feeling to know that the person you have committed yourself to loving and giving your everything to feels the exact same.
We then had to make sure that I got to work at 8 AM on Monday so that I could make sure the boat was good to go for the delivery. At 9 AM the customer arrived for the test drive. We had not even gotten away from the dock when one of the engines quit and we couldn't figure out why. It was after we got gas and we were pulling away from the dock when the second engine quit and we realized that there was a rope hanging in the water that had been wrapped around the props. What an adventure! But we got it fixed up and went for a test drive which was great. Aside from the fact that despite having been on the water my whole life, I did not think to dress for it. I nearly gave myself hypothermia during the test drive. Once we got back to the dock, the customer headed out for a little bit and I went to find myself some slippers and warmer clothes. I brought BF with me back to work and was wrapped in a blanket and given a space heater to warm up. At around 2 the customer came back for their tour of the boat with the delivery captain. It all went well and then I loaded the boat onto the trailer. At around 4 o'clock BF and I were finally able to take off and make the trip back to my parents house to pick up my dads truck and head an hour away to move into our new apartment. By the time we were finished setting up the bed it was midnight. But boy is that bed comfy!
The next day I had exhausted myself so much I couldn't even get myself out of bed. BF insisted that I stay home and get some rest which was the right call in the end. I had a doctors appointment in the afternoon that he took me to after we dropped my dad's truck back off at my parents house. My doctor was a little disappointed in me for not keeping up with my exercise but I promised I will get back to it and we are back to working towards getting me off of some of my meds. BF was really happy to have gotten to come with me to my appointment and ask my doctor what he can do to help me in the long run. He is truly the sweetest human and the most precious thing in my life. After the appointment we didn't get home until around 7. He told me to go lay in bed and watch some hockey while he unloaded the car. Around 9 I was looking for my night time pills and we realized we had left them at my parents. He woke up at 6 AM to go get them and came home with my pills and breakfast. I really am just the luckiest girl in the world to have him.
Now I have just a few more busy days and then hopefully we can settle down and just relax.
