A week in the woods
Hiking and Foraging daily
As part of my dailies and habits:
I forage often for my bunny bunsš itās like my favorite creature to feed! She shows the utmost joy and obvious gratitude and it always feeds my soul more than it nourishes her! She is my pride and joy!
Get IN my belly chanterellie chanterellie:
I canāt believe how many chanterelles Iām finding! Theyāre almost in my backyard. I didnāt have to go far to find these precious gems! They are one of my choice favorites!
These babies were friend up and served with freshly prepared fries and deliciously prepared air-fried chicken! SOOO good! Sadly I ate it all and forgot to take a picture of my plate! Food is art! Food is medicine! Food is a healing gift from god!
The elusive Ghost Pipe:
As I walk in the dew speckled grass, with the pine needles sticking to my toes, I came upon the most beautiful flower Iāve ever seen in such a populated neighborhood! These little guys are chlorophyll free and get their nutes from beneath their roots! I found this solitude, purple hued beauty and let be in the hopes that more will spring after another heavy rain! I couldnāt possibly be more excited everytime I see the rain coming! Those sunny days are beautiful, donāt get me wrong! However, I could never find and enjoy any of what I do if it werenāt for all this rain weāve been getting here in New England.
Iāve spent the better part of my 50 years trying to accomplish all those āimportantā things in life, and forgetting entirely about my inner life, and all the things that I am absolutely obsessed with. Iāve daydreamed my life away, almost entirely! Since joining and participating heavily in this gamified Habitica life, Iāve accomplished so much of the important things, but also so many projects daily time spent with my special interest! Iām loving my future already! Yay for boundaries! Yay for lists! And yay for the motivation to keep on plugging!! I AM BLESSED!
