When I was in elementary school, I always rode the bus in the morning because the theme school was closer to home. When I got to 2nd grade, I sat down with someone. Her name was Serenity.
At first glance, I'd usually didn't talk at first, but after a while they started talking to me and I felt more comfortable. She was a grade up than me. So through 2nd-4th grade, we'd always talks nd play games on her phone. She was like that one friend I needed to start my day. We used to play this two player game where there's a blue character and a pink character both trying to get to the end, I think it was called Heart Star or something. We both had fun playing that game, and sometimes she would use Amino. I didn't know what that was at the time, and I wanted to try it too. Thank god I didn't learn how to use it back then or else I would've had a traumatic experience. She also made some cool art too, and I wanted to follow her path.
When I got to 5th grade... she wasn't there anymore. She went to middle school. So I was just sitting in my seat. Lonely. Again. But, I was drawing more though. Every time I draw or ride the bus, I sometimes think of her. I thank her for being one of my first childhood friends. She was really sweet. Wherever you are right now, Serenity, thank you.
