I have loved jobs, I have; Mostly two of the jobs I've had I truly loved and I thought I could start a career with. I worked in hospice and Dialysis doing direct patient care, I adored both of these jobs. My hospice job I had to leave due to unstable hours and long commutes (we covered 26 counties). The Dialysis job inspired me, I loved learning everything and doing the job, I constantly learning new things, it was very same most of the time but yet everyday seemed to be different. My health took a turn for the worse and I can no longer do the long shifts on my feet and I can't bend over frequently because I get dizzy, I have carpal tunnel so heavy use of my hands/wrists are out.
Since this happened I am looking for another kind of job, I love healthcare and taking care of people and making them smile. But finding a job with these limitations is difficult, I have tried a few things but my appointments and me getting a clot that had me out for a couple of days ended up getting me terminated. Or another job I tried I couldn't do because of the carpal tunnel and standing. I also find it hard to be patient and kind to all those who rude or mean and are not sick and/or dying. Trying to find a job that doesn't require a degree that has these physical needs is so hard. I am in school right now but still have bills at the moment and have at least a year, possibly 2 and a half years until I have the bachelors.
I wish it were easy to just take a break from work for a bit, for like 1-2 months without any repercussions. I hope your carpal tunnel gets better, I think a lot of "gamers" get it, but they are able to fix theirs?
