december gratitude

I stopped posting these on here for some reason. however, let's ring in the new year with some gratitude

1. chocolate chip pancakes for brunch woop woop
2. YO Ellard posted in my Razanei lineage project to register a pup
3. pro strats for a cold morning: a hot shower and then more chocolate chip pancakes
4. solid raid day. 22% and 16% parses on Athena 1 (not personal bests, but 22 is close to green, I’ll take it) and we finally saw the fabled caloric theory II
5. delicious broccoli cheddar soup & naan for lunch
6. good evening hanging out with friends (newbie streaming Lies of P, Dante/HGR streaming Tevi) AND making good work prog
7. BOSS food day. coconut curry lamb wrap for lunch, JoJo’s (with parents) for dinner
8. (plus, leftover thai curry chow fun + taro milk tea for lunch the next day)
9. took a lunchtime walk to the train station. day! it’s so good!
10. honey chipotle rum BBQ steak!
11. happy with my Lorwolf den. just enjoying looking at it. I’ve got enough decor (thanks to recent updates) and variety of wolves that it’s genuinely aesthetic
12. started playing Tevi!
13.  green+ parses for everyone on Athena 1! including me! (27%. am I actually…getting better at this game?)
14. woop woop project complete (at 4 am. well, they can’t all be at reasonable times of day)
15. peaceful day, no calls, no emails. enough daylight for a nice walk at dusk after my afternoon nap
16. the morning sunlight in the kitchen is so bright as I’m making my mocha
17. oh hey Karta-Kul passed 1k battles won (a couple days before his second birthday). we’re climbing that ladder
18. we love 1 am impulse buys. just got a scroll of eternal youth for Zinciri, our third natural primal. you can charge your cell phone by putting it on him, but it’s not a good idea because he will eat it
19. grocery day! cauliflower parmesan soup and a quesadilla for lunch, and after raid, chocolate pie for an afternoon snack
20. after weeks of crippling lag, WD is suddenly running like a dream today (during lunar!). no idea what caused the change but hey, I’ll take it
21. NotN is here!! finally I can finish Valentino and Mizuki’s outfits (Valentino has been waiting like 10 months for his gossamer flame candles)
22. enrage on Athena 2! we’re officially a CLEAR PARTY
23. (chanting) egg egg egg egg (day 2 of notn: 11 eggs from 150 chests. let’s gooooo)
24. websteak did it!! he got FR user ID 696969. truly a day for the ages. we were all like “nice” on his profile

26. watching HGR stream Lies of P and fight the worst boss of all time (an overgrown boiler)
27. popeye’s for dinner! ft. bonus sweet & spicy wings
28. FINALLY got a haircut. veilspun cosplay 2k23 has ended
29. BB bonanza!! so cute, so squirmy. an active bouncy boy. he can roll over!
30. Christmas FEAST: honey sriracha wings, ribs, salmon, brother’s cornbread stuffing, corn casserole, and lil potatoes with bacon
31. also a post-meal concert by BB (his very first time in a high chair). brother brought out his toy lightup keyboard and he was slammin it
32. merry Christmas! Mom and Dad got BB a toy turtle and he loved it. it’s a bit big for him at the moment, but he had such a good time chewing on the fins (the only part that fits in his mouth)
33. someone on FR GIFTED me harlequin + diamondback + medusa + permabab scroll for my celebrity chef (that’s TWO gem genes)
34. hooome! with leftovers and Christmas chocolates in tow

36. got to Chapter 5 in Tevi. the Church is evil???
37. boss gave us the day off. thank yoo!
38. logged on to WD for the first time in a week and the new image server is online! there is NO LAG. all hail. (this won’t stop me going on extended hiatus but it is pretty sweet)
39. Athena survives 2023!! …but we had a good last session of the year. we got a 5% enrage on a very messy pull with 8 deaths. we’ll get her next time
40. as is tradition, rang in the new year with tabletop simulator + jackbox with the bros. we played Concept, and I got The Black Cauldron, which it turns out no one else has read, but HGR led the team to victory through his masterful 20 Questions skill (“is it fiction? is it sci-fi? is it fantasy? is it high fantasy?” “is the word ‘black’ in the title?” “is the title literally in the form ‘The Black X?’ ”). P.S. can you actually buy cauldrons on Amazon? wasn’t sure about that one
