I was complaining about pals getting stuck and HGR composed a haiku from my complaints:

I hate this fucker / he floats above the feed bin / my game freezes up

In any case, our feed bin woes are mostly over, because HGR, newbie, and I beat Palworld over the weekend. The final boss was Victor & Shadowbeak of the PAL Genetic Unit tower. (The towers can be challenged in any order, but the Genetic Unit was a clear cut above the rest.) On our first attempt, we were not even close to being on pace for damage and retreated halfway through. On our second attempt, we rolled up with a full squad of the level 50 legendary, Jetragon. Also, HGR respecced completely into attack. He was doing 8k headshots with his rocket launcher. (meanwhile, me in the back with my handgun: pew pew) We cleared the dps check with ease.

HGR is officially done with the game. He dropped off all his gear in the company chest and all his best pokemon in the base. newbie says he’s at least planning to finish his pokedex. Myself, I’m undecided…I’ve been enjoying the game, but I gotta admit the content is wearing a bit thin after 60 hours. Maybe it’s time to get back to Picayune Dreams (where I was walled hard on the fourth boss).
