Today is Sunday, February 25th 2024 and I just did all my dailies again today. They took less than an hour total to do them all, or maybe around an hour. Here they are right now:
All of these dailies took around an hour or even less, to complete them all, with the exception of the one hour cardio.
It takes me about a minute to do both 5 pull ups and.5 chin ups, and it takes me around 20 seconds to do 10 push ups. So right off the bat, those two are done in under two minutes. The abs workout takes longer, around 8 minutes, but I usually procrastinate doing that right away. The sweeping the floor, washing the dishes takes just a few minutes as well, same with the brushing my teeth. The brain exercises I can do in under 10 minutes.
So all of these take less than an hour to complete basically. My philosophical question would be that, are the days that I do these activities still beneficial, if I end up doing nothing else? On the days that I didn't have these dailies, I didn't do them of course; I'd let my dishes sit there for days sometimes, I'd leave the floor unswept for weeks. I'd still go to the gym every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, so I still got some workouts in. Then the rest of the day I'd spend it mostly just browsing the Internet or watching some anime.
So thinking about it, I think my days are improved because of these dailies, even if it seems like they don't do much, because yeah it barely takes any time or effort to do them. I think they help keep me healthy and organized. I still haven't even caught up on my finances yet, nor have I worked on adding any to dos yet. I need to add a daily where I organize my tasks and habits.
Anyway, I basically watched Kingdom the rest of the day, and that was fun to watch. The drama and suspense has gotten very intense. You really feel like the main characters don't stand a chance here, even if you know they always win out in the end. Knowing the main character always wins ruined the anime Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood to me, because the enemy didn't seem overwhelming at all, they kept losing whenever they fought any of the main characters. In Kingdom, at least main characters are killed off often, you know the absolute main characters, the protagonist and his lovers and closest friends, will never die and will always win, but the secondary main characters are free to be killed off.
The story is really good, and the suspense is just out of this world. The writers really put impossible to win situations on here, and they triumph over them somehow.
Anyway, that was my day today. I am going to work on adding and organizing my actual task list and other habits tomorrow.
