Today is Monday, August 26th 2024, and today was mostly a wasted day. I did learn some lessons today too though, so if I apply those lessons from now on, then today wasn't a wasted day at all.
The biggest wastes of time today was that I watched several hours of South Park video game videos. The games have enough cutscenes to basically be categorized as entire movies. There's 2-3 hours of just pure cutscenes in each of the two South Park games, so I watched these "movie" video game videos, and it was a huge waste of time. That's basically where most of my free time went today.
I still worked, I did go to the gym and exercised, I did my brain training, I did do some vegan activism posts on X. However, I had free time too, and I just didn't use it productively.
Most other days I wouldn't have really cared, but I'm taking a productivity course, and I've still only watched 10 minutes of it. I could have watched the entire course today if I watched that instead of South Park. It's an enjoyable course too with a lot of insightful ideas like the three myths of progress, perfection, and pace (direction), and yet those are still the only three things I've learned so far in the course after a few days.
I actually have a lot to do on my task list. I need to pick up app development again and make apps of several websites. My to-do list is long, I just need to work on the items there.
The main lesson I learned today is to just not waste time.
Anyway, that was my day today.
