One final Friday off, one last long weekend before the new boss takes the helm. Spending it visiting family. BB's starting to walk! Big hype!

But first: WATER. MAIN. PIPE. BREAK. The construction down the street keeps breaking the water main. It's happened three times this past month. This time, the water went out at 1 am and wasn't restored by the time I left at 1:30 pm. I'd been planning to shower, wash the dishes, and clean up the kitchen before leaving. That didn't happen.

The train ride was uneventful, but as we got close, the sky darkened dramatically. By the time we arrived it was a massive torrential downpour. Around 20 of us stood crammed underneath the little overhang outside the train station exit, waiting for our rides and goggling at the biblical deluge. People were taking photos and videos. There was a whirlpool in the parking lot. If only we had a bit of this water back home.

According to roommate, the water wasn't back on by 8 pm. Big yikes. What could've gone down at 1 am last night? Deliberate sabotage? Drunk driver hitting the main?
