10:12 PM
Tonight I'm trying to sleep early because I have to wake up early tomorrow. I have a dentist's appointment at 11 AM and at 4 PM. We only have 2 cars and both my parents will be using them, so I have to wake up earlier so I can drop my dad off, then I can borrow his car for the rest of the day. His car was mine until I gave it to him because I moved to Puerto Rico and couldn't take it with me.
Today was a very typical day. I worked and got a decent amount done. I finished two new pages and started on a third for this government program website.
I also read To Be An Actor, which is another new favorite manhwa. I looked up manhwa similar to Medical Return, and this was suggested as one of the similar ones, and I think it is very similar.
Medical Return is about a doctor who dies and then restarts his life as a kid, training to become a doctor again, but since he already knows everything, he basically becomes a prodigy and becomes the best doctor who ever lived. This one is the same premise, but with acting. The guy was an actor, dies, and then restarts his life with all his acting knowledge, so he becomes a prodigy and the best actor, though I'm not at that part yet. He's only 18 in the part where I'm at, but he already made a huge name for himself as a child actor and is rank one in his school for studies at that.
I like this genre. Just like Isekai and Xianxia, this is an entirely new genre that's not really a thing in the west. The reincarnation genre. The reliving your entire life genre. As of me writing this, there's no common name for this yet. Time travel is a popular trope in the west, but this one takes it to the next level, time traveling to your past self. We all get older and will eventually die, this genre is a nice escape from that reality.
I have one white mustache hair. I used to think I had so much control over myself and my body, but I can't even control one piece of hair. We can't. I also got this bite or maybe touched-a-poisonous-plant-and-it-swelled-marking on my arm, and I can't control that either. If I could control my one mustache hair to turn black again without using any external dyes, I would, but there's no way. I don't think I can meditate my way to turning that one piece of hair black either.
We all just get older and everything changes. Anyway, I'm going to sleep early tonight. Of course I also did my brain training, exercised, and did one vegan activism post. My birthday post on X only had around 350 likes yesterday when I wrote about it, but when I checked today it had 449, so that's pretty cool. The one on Facebook got a few new likes too.
Anyway, that was my day today.
