Today has been a pretty good day. It's one of the top days I've had in terms of working out. I did 201 push ups, 301 leg raises, 101 squats, 20 pull ups, 20 chin ups, 5 minutes of planking, and 40 minutes of walking today. I believe this is sustainable, although I've only been doing it for one day. I originally had my push up quota set to 250 for today, and my leg raises to 500, but I decided to lower them due to their difficulty.
Doing 500 leg raises was especially difficult. I was doing 31 leg raises every 30 minutes, and I was still extremely far off from 500 by 3 PM. So I decided to just lower it to 300 and call it a day. It was the same with push ups. By around 3 PM, I had only done around 170 push ups, I was doing around 30 per hour since waking up at around 9 AM, and I was still so far off from 250, so I lowered it to 200.
I'm doing these workouts at an accelerated pace instead of at the pace I originally planned to do them in. If I take it really slow, then I can do 20 push ups every hour, and get to 200 in 10 hours. The problem is that I'm doing all these other workouts as well, and I think it takes like 15 minutes to do them. Maybe not that long actually. I need to time myself next time.
If I wanted to spread the workouts to 10 hours, I'm going to have to go a lot slower. I was able to complete all my workouts in around 6 hours today, so I had 4 hours to spare. The thing is, do I actually want to spread the workouts out to 10 hours? I think, yeah, I do. I will try that tomorrow.
We'll see what it feels like going extremely slow, and doing such a small amount of workouts every 30 minutes. Instead of 10 squats, I just have to do 5. Instead of 30 or so push ups per hour, I have to do 20 per hour, or 10 every 30 minutes. Instead of 60 leg raises per hour, I just have to do 30 per hour, or 15 every 30 minutes. Just 1 pull up and 1 chin up every 30 minutes. We'll try out this extremely slow pace and see what it's like working out for 10 hours straight.
Because the workouts I did were pretty minimal, I didn't feel sore today. I didn't feel tired. I ate way too much food again though, 3500 calories or so. My parents and I went shopping for food today, and we went to this nearby Big Lots that was having a closing sale. It's yet another Big Lots closing probably due to Amazon or Temu.
I bought some items from Temu last night for the first time. It was after I had already written my entry for last night. I tried to go to sleep at 9 PM, but I couldn't. I think I just took a short nap instead, and then woke up shortly after. Then I stayed up until 2 AM, and then I fell asleep. Even as I write this right now, it's 12 AM, and I never took a nap or anything throughout the day, nor do I drink any coffee nor caffeine, I also haven't eaten meat in 11 years (for people who think this lowers energy, it probably increases energy if anything), and I did all these workouts throughout the day, and I'm still not sleepy.
I would love to be sleepy right now. I'd love to feel tired and just go to sleep. I'm also typing this in a dark room. I'm still so wide awake.
My ex-gf Mary could do 15 pull ups in a row. I told her if she kept it up she can probably set a world record for females, but she doesn't care, and she already gave it up. I can probably do 11 in a row right now, but I'm not in a state to be able to try, not even tomorrow. Because I plan on doing 20 pull ups tomorrow, I can't expend myself doing a max number of pull ups in a row.
I looked up the pull up world record, and back in 2018, someone local to my parents set the record at over 10,000 in a place that's around 15 minutes from where my parents live. That's pretty cool. They said they did it to raise awareness for ocean conservation, and to raise money for Sea Shepherd. That's amazing and admirable. They were only 19 years old too, so they probably might not have been training too long for it, but I don't know. They should be around 25 now, it being 7 years later.
Doing a search for his name, he still holds a lot of the pull up worlds records. I think he's been setting them since 2016, and no one has beaten his score since.==
Anyway, I don't think my workouts are all that much. This is from an anime, so it's fiction, but there was this one character in this soccer anime who was training on a treadmill, it was just for one scene, and I just paused it to look at his time and speed, he was running for I think 1 hour and 12 minutes, at a speed of 20 km/h or 12.4 mph. That's extremely fast, and he was running at that speed for over an hour? Wow. That's around a 2 hour 5 minute marathon time. It's humanly possible, but it's insanely fast.
So I feel like I need to add jogging to my current workouts.
Anyway, I'm getting sleepy. Today has overall been a good day. I don't have any complaints.
