Whew. Super tired. I'm back in Virginia again. It's always tiring flying, I hate having to sit down for 4-5 hours not doing anything. Well, to be fair, that's pretty much what I do at home, except I do stand up every now and then, and I'm usually doing things like working or reading.
The woman who sat next to me on the plane kept getting into my personal space. I don't want to disparage her, because she was very old and heavy, and maybe I just did, but I'm just trying to describe her physically. Anyway she controlled the entire armrest and her arm kept going into my side the whole time, even touching me as I leaned away trying to get as far away as possible. I sat next to the window, and she had the center seat, I pretty much leaned towards plane wall. I was scooted as far away as possible, and her arm still kept touching me, and not just barely touching me, but pushing into me. It was annoying.
Then one time she wanted to open the window, so she just leaned and reached in front of me to open it up, pushing me back towards my seat and trapping me in with her arm. I admit, I felt a little violated. It's the first time this ever happened. Here's the bias in this, if it was some attractive woman who did this, or someone I knew, I probably wouldn't have minded. But I was annoyed from uncomfortably leaning away basically the whole flight, and she would also fart a lot and it smelled like old person, they do have a distinct smell, so I felt violated from being boxed in. It came out of nowhere too, I was watching a movie, and then she just reaches across me.
It would have been fine if she saw how far back I was leaning away, how shocked I looked when she reached across me, and if she stopped taking up all the space and touching me. What I hated is how oblivious she was to how uncomfortable she was making me feel the whole flight.
Anyway today I just woke up and lazily cleaned my home. I cleaned the backyard, I did some laundry, I took out the trash and threw some other trash away. I cleaned the kitchen, I swept the floors. I could have cleaned the bathroom, but I didn't. I basically finished everything by 12 PM. I then just rested and chilled after taking a shower. Then I got an Uber at around 3 PM, and went to the airport.
The security line at the airport was the longest I've ever seen. I stood in line for around 1.5 hours before finally getting in. I wore a vegan shirt the whole time too. The other day when I wore a vegan shirt at the mall, Plaza Las Americas, when I was buying some shoes at Macy's, one of the security guards gave me a thumbs up and said "Go vegan! It's the best!" as I was walking by. I forgot to write about it, but it happened.
Anyway, I'm super sleepy. I'm back in Virginia again. And I'm tired. Time to sleep.
