Friday the 13th, 11 Pull Ups In A Row

2:00 AM (of Saturday, December 14th, 2024)

Today is Friday, December 13th 2024 and it was a pretty good and eventful day today. Maybe it was yesterday, or the day before, but I did 11 pull ups in a row at the gym at some point. I'm not even practicing or training it that often now, which I regret. I've been in Puerto Rico again for over a week now I think, and I haven't been doing pull ups and chin ups daily or often. I think I would be so much better and so much further if I had been training and practicing daily. I don't have any excuses that I don't, except that I get distracted by other things and the time just goes by.

It's the same with losing weight. I feel like I take many steps forward, and then many steps back. I was at 173 pounds a few days ago, then today and yesterday, at 173.7 pounds. On the day that I weighed 173 pounds, I think it was two days ago, I ate like 4000 calories in a single day. I don't make any progress because I sabotage myself so much and it's frustrating.

I went to Terrestre Cocina Compasion again for lunch today, as I did yesterday. It was to celebrate good things happening to me lately. I love the vegan Asian foods that they serve, I always only eat vegan foods since I'm against animal cruelty. I picked up my meal, and then headed back to my car, they called me saying they forgot to give me a meal I ordered, so I went back.

On the way back, I saw an awesome dude entering too, let's call him Omar, that runs a charity that I donate to, and he held the door open for me. Terrible that I didn't say his name, I said Matt, because he looked like this Matt I knew, I hope he misheard that as Man though. Anyway, we shook hands and caught up for a bit, he asked me for tips on where to park, and I told him behind this one building on the other side. Yeah there's few places to park in PR sometimes. So I pick up my meal and head back, and he follows me in his car with his wife, and they get the parking spot where I was just at. I wave to them as I pass. Awesome. The meal was delicious.

I didn't work all that much today. I didn't go to the gym tonight either. Earlier in the day Gus called me and asked if I wanted to go to the gym, I said yeah, and they planned to work out where they lived instead, because they just set up some gym equipment there. I said sure, I'll come by at around 6:30 PM, when I texted I was coming by, they said there was too much going on right now and that we'd meet up at the gym instead. Anyway, the gym time closing time ended up passing by, and I didn't hear back from them, so we just skipped it today.

I want to take more pictures of myself and things going on in my life, and post them up online. I just hate my current haircut right now which I gave myself, so I have been avoiding being in any photos or videos.

When I did 11 pull ups in a row, Eric recorded me doing it. I showed my face in the video along with my terrible haircut, and I uploaded it online. I got a few congratulations and 111 likes on it or something. I just don't like my appearance in the video. I'm pretty insecure about my appearance and want to lose weight and look better.

Yeah I can do 11 pull ups in a row, 41 push ups in a row, can walk for 4 hours straight and have done this as recently as 3 weeks ago, but I'm still overweight according to my BMI. If I lost weight and got to something normal, I imagine I might be able to do like 100 pull ups in a row, or 1000 push ups in a row, or something. If I am already able to do this much as an overweight person, I should be able to do unimaginably more once I got to a healthy weight. I asked ChatGPT before and it predicted something like that too, maybe not 100 pull ups in a row, but something like 40, and something like 80 push ups in a row once I got to a normal weight.

I have pretty much been on my laptop the whole day today. I've barely moved, the whole day. Of course I've been busy on my computer doing a lot of different things, but at the same time, not doing all that much. It's weird how time just passes by so quickly.

Anyway, that was my day today.
