The workouts are starting to get to me now. This morning I woke up at around 3 AM, and I felt so exhausted. I didn't feel sore, but I felt weak, fatigued, that I needed more rest. Today is a Friday, so according to my workout schedule, it's the day where I attempt a pull-up max set.
So at around 4 AM, I tried that. I tried going for a pull-up max, and I could only do 9. My previous best just a week ago was 12, so I was aiming for 13, but I didn't reach it, not even close. Ouch. I really tried too, and I could have probably done 1 to 2 more, but I gave up after 9 after just feeling all the fatigue all over.
This made me realize that the amount of pull-ups I was doing per set, which was 6 per set, 4 sets per day, totaling to 24 reps per day, was not enough. So I bumped it up to 8 pull-ups per set, 4 sets per day, totaling to 32 pull-ups per day. I think this should be enough to show growth after a week. After doing 8 chin-ups in a row, I didn't do any of my other workouts the rest of the day.
At around 7 AM, I walked outside. I was so tired and unmotivated. I felt extremely bad, but I forced myself to walk outside. Maybe walking would energize me somehow? It helped, not too much, but it did. I did laundry and cleaned up a little. I went out to my backyard to inspect it, checked out some of the plants, and it looks like things were growing well. Underneath the anti-weed covers, there were actually still plants growing beneath them, despite the anti-weed cover. Plants are extremely resilient apparently. As long as they're not visible and they don't tear any holes through the weed covers, I'll leave them alone.
I'm not sure how several hours of the day passed by, but knowing me I was probably browsing the Internet for a while, watching videos here and there about a multitude of topics. I did some work today too, but I was extremely unmotivated. I did some business task work too, which was cool. It's weird how I procrastinate on extremely simple tasks. I'm not sure why, I think I'm just so fatigued or something.
My arms are a lot bigger now, I noticed. My left arm is now as muscular as my right arm was months ago. My right arm is my dominant arm, and even though I try to exercise them the same amount, my right arm is slightly larger and has always been. When I flex my right arm, its muscles are very visible, and it was like this months ago too. My left arm however, when I would flex it months ago, the difference was massive, my muscles were barely visible in comparison. Well, now, my left arm has gotten muscular to the point where flexing it today, is as muscular as my right arm was months ago, which is significant progress
In the evening after work was done, I went to the calisthenics park and did some workouts there. I did 10 pull-ups in a row, and some other exercises. It was fun, but very short lived. I was only there for like 15 minutes, because it was getting dark. I think it was a waste to have driver there, due to the distance and the traffic.
Tonight I went to the gym, on my own this time. This is the first time in my entire life where I worked out strength on my own in this gym, because normally I'd train with my friends, I went on several workout machines and did a bunch of workouts for an hour. All the muscles I worked out feel pretty good and pumped. I decided not to cancel my gym membership tonight, just because I think I might come here again every night to work out. Or I might still cancel it, who knows.
Anyway, I'd write more, but I'm very sleepy and tired. I'm going to sleep.
