I've Been Lazy Lately

11:33 PM

I haven't done any brain training in weeks. Prior to my streak accidentally ending a few months ago, I was on a 200+ day streak, where I used several brain training apps and was in the 99th percentile for all of them. I had no problems doing them every day, it probably took like 30 minutes at the most, and I had full concentration, high performance (99th percentile performance) and everything. It's the same with exercising.

On my 200+ day brain training streak, I also exercised most days probably. This month I barely exercised at all. I actually didn't even do any exercises until a few days ago basically, and I was still extremely fit. I did like 11 pull ups and 11 chin ups in a row the other day, and it was easy. Prior to that, it's been days since I last did any, and I still did so many with ease, I didn't lose any strength.

I don't know why I stopped exercising. It's not hard to do 40 push ups, I can probably do that much in a row right now, and that's how little I set to do per day on my habit checklist. If I just do 20 push ups in a row, take a few minutes break, then another 20 push ups, that would be so easy to do, and yet I didn't for the past few weeks until yesterday. Yesterday was the first day in a long time I did any push ups, and I did 20 in a row with ease still.

It's also weird why I don't do any brain training anymore. It really doesn't take much time, and I was extremely nimble and quick mentally when I was doing them. Just like how I stop feeling fit when it's been weeks since I did any exercises, it's the same for mental training, I also stop feeling mentally fit whet it's been a while.

Can I still do math problems with ease? Can I still solve any multiplication problem from 1x1 to 20x20 in under 1 second? I'm not sure anymore. The only reason my limit is 20x20 is because the Quick Math Daily game only goes up to that many. If it supported up to 99x99 then I could practice with more numbers and be able to do them in under 1 second too.

Anyway, I have been lazy. It's so easy to be lazy. The only area I've been more productive in now, is washing my face with a cleanser and putting on moisturizer and a toner. I sort of know the order of how to apply face creams now. First is the cleanser, it's basically just a soap that cleans your face. Then you apply some essential oil or something if you do that, then moisturizer, and then toner. WTF. I just looked up the order and I'm wrong. It's actually cleanser, toner, serum, eye cream, moisturizer, then sunscreen. I've been applying skin care wrong this whole time.

It's actually only been the past week or two since I started applying these skincare creams. Yeah a few years ago I did buy a skincare set, but I never used it. I'm actually only using it right now, it's been under my sink at my parent's place for years, the eye cream has completely dried up, but the rest is still usable. I bought this in around 2020, and I'm only using it now. Crazy. The reason I estimate that I bought this back in 2020, is because it's at my parent's place. If I had bought this any time after March 2021, it would make more sense to be at my own place and not my parent's. I'm only here a few weeks to a couple of months per year.

Oh, and my viral post on Red Note ended up with over 800 comments, I think closer to 900 comments. My post just asked "Would I pass as Chinese?" and then a selfie of myself, and that post went semi-viral a few days ago. Even today there were still tens of people commenting and liking it. If I had my notifications on when my post was trending, I would probably have gotten a notification every 30 seconds, that's how frequently people were commenting when it was kicking off.

So I would say 30% of the comments were "Yes you look Chinese", another 30% was "You seem Japanese to me", then 20% of "Korean/South East Asian/Vietnamese". The rest of the 20% was "No" some Chinese question or riddle that only the Chinese would know. There was only 2-3 comments that I saw that mentioned the Philippines. Just 2-3, out of 800+ comments. Majority said I was Chinese or Japanese.

Also I mentioned in my previous entry that people commented "you look ugly" or "you look sleepy", there were probably less than 10 of these comments total. They do stand out more, because they hurt, but yeah, there were extremely few. I did not get any "You are handsome" or "you are good looking" comments, none out of 800+ comments.

Today some viral posts on X were about the new feature of ChatGPT to convert any of your photos to any art style. I asked it to convert a bunch of my photos to Studio Ghibli style, and it's insane how good it is. I saw some of my community on X posting about it, and I was like, whoa, how are they doing this? Then I just did a search for it, and ChatGPT is what does it, it's the new feature that came out yesterday.

There are some original characters I've come up with that I've asked several artists to create. These characters are all recurring in the art covers of my songs. I've always had to hire artists to create these images of them, because I am not able to draw them myself, and AI wasn't around back then. I remember I paid an artist $200 to create some art for me, and I didn't even use it anywhere, which is my fault, I just didn't find any use for it. It's the same with writing a book,

I paid a ghost writer $3000 to write a book for me way back then prior to AI existing, and I still haven't used in anywhere nor published it. I came up with the book idea, wrote the outline for it, and didn't want to write it myself, so I hired someone to write it for me. I just never figured out how to publish it. I just never really tried in figuring out how, I procrastinated. Now I can just use AI to make a book for me or an image, and I don't have to pay as much. It sucks. This sucks for human jobs.

This will probably be the same for programming and apps soon. Soon AI can just make these apps and websites and basically put me out of contracting work. Oh yeah, the layoffs in tech are plenty right now. There's so many. Ugh, this YouTube channel I'm using as a source for this is not credible. They claim Intel is laying off 55,000 workers this month, but no other source says that. They say Amazon is laying off 49,000 workers this month, but I can't find any source for that either. This YouTube channel is baloney. There's probably still layoffs happening right now, but not as crazy as I believed.

Since I write about them a lot, I decided to show how my friends look using Studio Ghibli style. It's not real pictures of them, just close representations of real pictures we've had together, so I hope they don't mind. Gus, Eric, and Guy are in the first photo with me. Gus is actually the tallest one on the furthest left, but he was leaning a lot. All of them have six pack abs except for me. Wahl is the girl in red shirt and green hat. The most attractive woman I have ever seen and been with in my entire life, she is very fit and has six pack abs, I would dedicate my entire life to her if she let me. Then my ex-gf Mary, who is also very pretty and attractive in her own right, and we did once dedicate our lives to each other.

I'm pretty tired now. For work, I'm stuck. There's some problem I don't know how to resolve.

Anyway, that was my day today.
