Does America Want to be a Developing Nation?

7:59 AM

I'm not sure what makes American labor more valuable than any other country's labor, yet an American would earn significantly more than any other nation for the same work. The minimum wage employee in the United States, earns as much or even more than doctors of other nations. The average software engineer in China earns around $25,000 for example, while in the United States it's more like $137,000, more than five times as much. You also basically need a PhD in China to get a job because the competition there is extremely high, so these are more qualified workers earning a fraction of U.S. workers.

Also is deflation a bad thing? Everything in China is actually getting cheaper, while in the United States everything is becoming more expensive. Yet, the United States gaslights itself saying that China is collapsing because the prices there are collapsing. I think if prices dropped in the United States, people would see that as a good thing, but prices dropping in other nations is a bad thing somehow. In housing, the United States has a major problem that it's too expensive, whereas in China, housing has dropped significantly despite having about 5 times as many people.

In China, they actually have too many homes. People have lost a lot of money buying up homes 10 years ago, because all the homes now are like half the price or even less. They just mass produced homes in China, whereas it's much slower to build up homes in the U.S.

Pretty much every industry that I've looked at where the U.S. was once dominant, is now losing to China. Agriculture being one of the worst too. Probably 90%+ of the food grown in the United States is animal feed, worldwide the average is more like 80%. It's so stupid, we grow so much food to feed animals to kill the animals, when we don't need to eat them at all. We would reduce our agriculture land usage by over 75% if we stopped eating animals, and still easily fulfill all our dietary and nutrition needs, and also have the same tasting food. Eating animals is so extremely dumb, it's funny and weird how only vegans realize this. The entire world is engulfed in ignorance.

Bringing back manufacturing jobs to the United States doesn't make much sense either, but I do understand that people need work. People need jobs for sure, but manufacturing is probably one of the worst, it's repetitive and barely pays. In China, automation is rampant, so there's actually significantly less manufacturing labor than before. There are entire unmanned factories and unmanned facilities, requiring just a handful of people to operate an entire factory. Yeah unmanned isn't really the right word, because it still requires someone to look over things, but that's how it's used in the industry.

Yesterday I weighed 159.5 pounds at my lowest, after I used the bathroom a second time that morning. This morning I weighed 160.3 pounds after using the bathroom. No progress since yesterday basically.

I need to take each day more seriously, because it can't happen again. I plan on making today extremely productive.
