march gratitude

since the subject of gratitude journaling came up, here's my gratitude journal entries from March

1. chill valheim session, exploring the northern reaches of the starting continent
2. more (very slow) valheim exploration. actually learning the game mechanics! copper + tin = bronze. tin is on the shoreline. pine trees give corewood. made myself a bronze spear & bronze pickaxe. I am so geared now
3. NO team meeting this week. slept until 8:45, had a very relaxing morning while it rained heavily (I was INSIDE and NOT wet)
4. new Fitbit set up and ready to go! (because the old one fell in the toilet LOL) setup went smoothly and it’s so nice not having it falling it off my wrist all the time
5. did the laundry, took a long hot shower, and am all cozy in clean pajamas
6. omg it’s the first day of Springswarm and the fodderlocke has been insanely spicy… first The Big Contract killing five dragons, then snake eyes on a work assignment killing two dragons, then a coup (rip Benihana Day 9 – Day 33)
7. watching Claude play pokemon with HGR and Dante. “there must be a special transition to Cerulean City!! I swear to god I do this shit when I can’t figure out where to go”
8. lmfao he just tried to interact with “the NPC in the red hat.” there is no NPC!! that’s you!!
9. made fried catfish & fried rice for lunch today. it turned out great!
10. sunny and warm! (50 degrees) winter is losing its grip on the world
11. yooo nine shiny Fuecoco. community day luck off the charts
12. I WAS HERE WHEN CLAUDE MADE IT THROUGH MT. MOON. HOOOOLY
13. the Walmart groceries. they came. all of them. we love broccoli cheddar soup & chocolate pie
14. woop raised another two dragons to 25 (the abyss duo: Muramasa the triple abyss undertide and Voidling the obsidian aether)
15. FINALLY a curry/stew Snorlax so I can see if Plan Mushroom Chowder is any good
16. just realized the fitbit app managed to process the daylight savings time change with no hiccups. that’s actually impressive
17. 64 degrees out :0 t-shirt weather!
18. made an open-face portal longhouse in Valheim. no more randomly dumping portals all over the lawn (until we exceed 24 portals)
19. yeahhh new boba spot. fried fish jianbing + lychee slush, the best
20. finally got to the art store and bought watercolors and a small watercolor sketchbook. GET HYPE
21. having so much fun with watercolors. been coloring photocopied sketches—yesterday a tentacled humanoid dude, today the mall map ft. random dragon
22. another sunny t-shirt day woop
23. yooo finally rolled the nesting option in the fodderlocke. only took us 41 days. we rolled Krivoluca oh this one’s interesting
24. weekend trip to brother's place. hi BB!!
25. observe my comedic genius: makes farting noises < VERY FUNNY
26. touring the not-Harry-Potter buildings with brother
27. hanging out with brother in the evening, watching him play a jigsaw puzzle game
28. more playing with BB! he said “mine” and “Grandma” today. word explosion is around the corner I can feel it
29. haircut!!
30. yooo the two Zeke/Bishdariels kids who have been hanging around since January finally sold through my lineage topic. I KNEW these were too good to exalt and it paid off
31. had dinner with Mom and Dad at a hibachi restaurant. it was great and the portions were huge, perfect for bringing back leftovers
32. weekly meeting got called off, so I got to sleep in AND hatch my FR anni eggs in the comfort of my own home
33. tametsi PROG: 75 puzzles beaten
34. leftover porkghetti for lunch. thanks, past me!
35. (redacted) IS okay! (he’s not okay. but he is out of the house)
36. picked up a random Korean soup last weekend (jjamppong) and had it for dinner tonight. it was great!
37. did a couple tough Wednesday crosswords, very satisfying
38. got new pepper! after literally years of having worthless pepper, this new “restaurant style” pepper ACTUALLY TASTES PEPPERY woo
39. woop lord tidepod (saffron/sky/rust) sold to someone who’s gonna make them a fandragon! def better than keeping him myself
40. yooo we love rolling 12 in the fodderlocke when we’re running low on lair space
41. high entertainment: watching HGR and newbie navigate a dark cave full of bats
42. whew it is OKAY that I haven’t finished my project yet, since our queue is clear at the moment
43. we love trying new places for lunch. found a Thai restaurant in the usual Asian food slot. got the pad see ew and it was great. wanted something hearty and warm and it really hit the spot
44. project COMPLETE (at 11:30 am on a Wednesday, after sleeping in until 9 am. we are living the life)
45. yoooo one of my stock the pond kids got bought for someone’s breeding project!
46. another relaxing day. no emails, no deadlines, got to chill out playing a bit of Valheim with newbie in the evening
47. doodling a mushroom cave (#afatbat). enjoying this sakura prisma pen
48. playing BG3. we’re so back!
49. watercolored the mushroom cave!
50. bubblbog project complete! 1/16 chance on the first nest
51. had a long walk in the early afternoon before the rain hit, then napped to the sound of a rainstorm overhead
52. Korean BBQ steak for dinner, perfectly done
53. beat Neon and Gridlock III. 90 puzzle barrier broken (actually now at 91)
54. really happy with the state of my lair lately. impulse bought some birds, redid Jialun’s outfit, recently re-did Ayumi’s outfit. we’ve never been better
