For no reason, the power went out again today (April 30th), at around 7-8 PM. My entire neighborhood was out of power, and it was pitch black outside. I had homework due tonight, so I went to a nearby Starbucks to work to it. It was a unique experience going to the Starbucks, since I rarely go. I ordered a green smoothie drink, and got to work. I was fully concentrated and working hard on my assignment, and got about 50% done before the place had to close and I headed out.
On the drive back home, I decided to not go straight home just yet, and just explore the area around my place to see how large of an area was affected by this blackout. It was a vast area that was affected by this. I drove around in darkness for a while, nothing on but my car lights, passing by hundreds of homes that had no lights. I'm estimating there were probably thousands of homes, several businesses and gas stations, a few government buildings, and a few condominium buildings that were affected. I didn't really go far enough to really see how many places were affected.
The past 5 days, either the power or Internet has been out for several hours every single day except for yesterday. It didn't happen this time, but sometimes the power goes out while I'm asleep. I only find out the next day because some device that is usually on would be turned off, indicating that something turned it off, which usually meant the power went out, and I would have to turn it back on again. So yeah, this is very common here.
I'm fasting again starting today for around 3-5 days, 3 days minimum with up to 5 days if I can last that long. I started my fasting timer at 11:59:59 PM of April 30th, 2025. I megadosed a bunch of vitamin D right before starting, probably around 20,000 IU of Vitamin D, which should be enough for several days of not taking any. I need this to reset my eating and also dopamine. I haven't gained any weight at all these past few months, but I just need to fast again, just for weight loss again.

@Mi.wusa It's not safe to take more than 5,000 IU in a single day if you already have sufficient Vitamin D. I took this many because from my recent blood work, it found that I was severely deficient. For someone like me, it can be safe to take very high doses like this for a few days. Doing it for more than a week though, and it can get risky. I'm definitely not doing this long term.
So far I've not really experienced anything different between taking it or not.
