pudding alone gets awfully dull (notes)

Since we’re on hiatus for a week, I better write all this down.

Huh. Actually, writing this makes me like the phase better. Makes it feel more mechanic-y.

  • Before the add phase:
  • Wave 2 (rays) spawns at 4:20. I want barrel stabilizer + wildfire + chain saw up.
  • These attacks all come up during the cactus dodging phase. I sometimes inadvertently drift them because I am hyperfocusing on dodging and I am bad at this game.
  • I can use barrel stabilizer + wildfire any time BEFORE the party stack. If I haven’t used them by then, I MUST HOLD them for adds.
  • I can use chain saw anytime, but if I use it as asap as possible, I can get in one more use before I need it for adds.
  • I will spend down heat during the quicksand attack, while standing in the corner. After that, NO HEAT USAGE until adds.
  • Wave 1 (yan, cat, 2 mus): Target the yan. Open with hypercharge. Once the yan is dead, switch to the cat.
  • Wave 2 (rays, 2 mus): At t-1 seconds, pot (i.e. when the slimes are onscreen). Initiate on ray 2 with a normal 1-2-3. Switch to ray 1 and chain saw, barrel stabilizer, full metal machinist, chain saw. Once ray 1 is dead, switch back to ray 2 (normally it does this automatically, but always check) and HYPERCHARGE. After that, target cat and then mus (multishot).
  • Wave 3 (jabberwock, cat): When the jabberwock becomes targetable, wildfire. When the jabberwock dies, target mus (multishot).
  • Wave 4 (e v e r y o n e): Initiate on ray 2 (continuing puddle placement from previously). Switch to jabberwock when targetable. After that, (stuff?? who knows???). Sugar Riot will probably raidwide at the end, so tac + dismantle.
