Mental Health Journey Day 15

Currently listening to: We All Lift Together by Keith Power

(Honourable mention: The person who also love this song)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My last entry was two entire weeks ago! It's been a while. And so many things happened!
First of all, let me start with a short recap:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I visited the guy I have feelings for, well, not quite. I would rather call this a friend crush: it's a person I enjoy spending time with and want to have in my daily life. Not in a romantic way, more like I trust this person so deeply, and I feel a strong connection. The reason I visited him was to go to a computer science event (I have never seen such an LGBTQIA+ and disability-friendly place before lol). It was super fun. Due to the heat and my menstruation, I couldn't spend so much time on the event. Nevertheless, I would love to go to the event again!

Speaking of my menstruation, I started to write down my symptoms, so I can talk about it with my gynaecologist. I feel scared of the next step. I hope I will know the reason for my symptoms in the future!

Also a great mental health news:

My depressive episode and my anxiety are gone for a few days! I have some time to focus on my studies! Wohoo!

That's it for the short recap. Let's go back to the present!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My day was very sleepy (because I slept for at least 12 hours). I am so glad the extremely hot weather is gone for a few days. 37°C in Europe is no joke! I went to a supermarket and bought some nice alcohol free drinks. Now that the heat is gone, I can finally follow my gym schedule! I will go to the gym tomorrow. I don't know what exercises I will do tomorrow. Probably back or leg exercises.
I recently went to the library. It was weird to study in a library because I usually study at home. The reason I did it is that there is an air conditioner. I studied there for five hours, until I got hungry and went back to my flat to cook dinner.
Mental health:
I improved it a lot, and I was able to do my daily check-in on Finch.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Conclusion:

  • I still hate hot weather
  • Studying works pretty good so far, I hope I will pass my upcoming exams
  • Reading books is fun (I finished They Were Roommates. I am currently reading Iron Widows)
  • My love for painting and drawing is slowly returning

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few things I enjoyed:
  • Watching a video a friend sent me
  • To chat with my university friends
  • To take a nap (Heat is exhausting)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

See you soon, everyone!
