Exercised For An Hour Straight

4:46 AM

This is a rarity, but today I exercised for an entire hour straight, just a few hours ago. I was sweating so profusely and then I took a shower right after. It's about time I actually started working out again. I don't know why I didn't do this months ago, I would have results today if I started this months ago and kept it up. Nothing prevented me from exercising except for the fact that it takes work and effort to exercise, that you can easily feel tired and fatigued right after, and that you can get sweaty. It's mainly the work and effort that made me not exercise.

So Wahl did message me again a few days ago, so she does still think of me sometimes, I'm grateful for that. She is insanely beautiful and last year she told me that she works out for around 4 hours at a time when she works out, which I think is daily, but I'm not certain. I could barely last for an hour working out today. There was no reason why I couldn't work out for an hour every day starting last year. Absolutely no reason at all, other than laziness.

The reason why I did some exercises today was because I read through a personal transformation story regarding exercising with kettlebells. It truly transformed this one person's life, just working out an hour with these things every day, doing the same exercise movement called the kettlebell swing. Apparently the kettlebell swing targets all the muscles of the body, and it's a great cardio exercise as well, so it's possible to just do this one exercise and you basically work out your entire body.

This person did eventually graduate to doing other forms of kettlebell exercises, and even doing running, but I think I'm going to just stick with the kettle bell swings forever. I'm not going to stop doing push ups, chin ups, pull ups, squats, and other body weight exercises, but I am just going to be prioritizing the kettlebell swing much more.

I have two kettlebells, I think one is 15 pounds, let me check actually. Yes, that one is 15 pounds, and it is a lightweight. The other kettlebell I have, the weight is customizable, it's this rod with a kettlebell handle at the end, and it can hold up to 4 plates of any weight. I added 4 plates of 4 pounds to this, so the weight is around 18 pounds, since the handle and the rod take up some weight as well.

Anyway, it was tough, but I did kettlebell swings for around an hour with this weight, not continuously of course. Even just a few minutes of these exercises tired me out, so I would take some breaks every now and then. While doing the exercises, I felt no soreness or fatigue or anything, the 18 pound kettlebell felt so light too, especially since I was using two hands, although I can freely lift 18 pounds anywhere with ease just using one hand.

Currently I'm at around 165 pounds and 16% body fat. Yeah over the past month, I gained 10 pounds from 155 pounds. I think I was tired of being skinny, and my face looking so skinny, so I intentionally ate a lot in order to regain some weight. Now I'm regretting some of this weight gain, because nearly all of it went to just my stomach. Some weight did go back to my face, which is awesome, my face looks much more masculine now due to that, but nearly all the weight went back to my stomach, so I have to lose all this weight again.

After exercising, I took a shower, and then I applied some Actigym to my stomach area. It supposedly burns fat in the area where it's applied. We'll see if this actually works and helps in accelerating fat loss in this area, but since I'm going to be exercising daily anyway, it's going to be hard to tell if Actigym will be doing anything at all.

How long will it take for any significant changes to be visible? Probably more than a week. I really hate that it takes time for any results to be visible, for anything. If I wanted to look fit today, I should have started months ago.

I did start my brain training over again though. I'm very rusty and I suck now, my mental math calculations are nowhere near as fast, so I have to work my way back up to where I was before. Things truly are "use it or lose it", as a few months of me not doing any brain training, made me less agile mentally.

I can't wait until the day I message Wahl again, maybe it'll be in a week from now. I think it's possible to lose a pound a day through exercising and by eating less. I certainly lost 1 pound a day when I fasted. The difference is that since I'm exercising, it's also possible to gain some muscle while losing weight, so the body changes could be profound in a week. I'm just not ready to message her back yet, not when I don't have a fit body yet.

So I think my face looks good now, genuinely. I'm happy and satisfied with my appearance. However, at 16% body fat, maybe at this stage it's not possible to be considered attractive yet, for most. This next part will sound really arrogant, dumb, narcissistic, and I get it, but I posted a video reel trying to show off my face on Instagram and other platforms yesterday or the day before. It has received around 500 combined views throughout all the platforms I posted it on, and it only received like 25 likes or so, and no comments. What does it take to be called handsome?

Other people post selfies or videos of their faces, and they get called handsome, but I don't. Ugh. I'm not sure I can even reach such a level. I have hope because my body fat % is so high at 16%, so I have some hope that maybe if I can reduce my body fat %, my appearance will improve enough that I can be considered handsome, especially with six pack abs and muscles. Most people considered handsome have 10-12% or less body fat.

But anyway, I'm pretty tired. I'm going to sleep / take a nap.
