Started Making Brain Rot Characters

1:28 AM

In computers, there's no such thing as true randomness, maybe it's true that way in the real world too. The main way that randomness is faked, is that time as a variable is involved, the seconds since epoch, or January 1st, 1970, at 12:00 AM GMT. For an arbitrary reason, all computers are programmed to have the beginning of time set to January 1st, 1970, 12:00 AM GMT, and time as a variable is how many seconds since that date, as of right now, that number is: 1753335249, which ticks up by one every second.

Using this number, you can fake randomness. Since that number will never ever repeat once that second passes by, you can use that number in a formula for randomness, to have it seem like it was random. You could roll a dice, and on the timestamp of 1753335249, it would always be a 6. If time froze forever and it was permanently 1753335249, you would always get a 6. Since time moves on and you can't roll the dice again on the same exact timestamp ever again, whatever you get will always be different.

Who's to say the real world doesn't work this way? We also cannot repeat any seconds in time, since time always ticks upwards, everything is always different. Space is also always different actually, we are moving through space right now, at around 0.3 miles per second, so we are never in the same spot ever. I am probably 5 miles away right now from when I wrote that previous sentence, you are probably 10 miles away since reading that last sentence. Our bodies are also never the same, ever, as cells die and new cells appear, and there are minute changes all the time. Maybe on an atomic level things are different too, but we don't know enough about that.

Atoms were supposed to be the smallest things in existence, but we found things even smaller than atoms. The particles inside the atoms, the electrons, protons, neutrons, are smaller than atoms. Smaller than electrons, protons, and neutrons, are quarks and leptons, which I don't know anything about, just that they come in different shapes, and are currently the smallest known things in existence.

I'm not really sure who studies these things and who figures out these things. Atoms are way too small to see, so I don't know how they figured out its appearance and shapes, and the existence of subatomic particles, and the existence of quarks and leptons and their shapes, How do they make any profit from figuring these things out too? It sucks, but in our world, you might not get anything for discovering quarks, and how would you even announce that you discovered it? Who would believe you? Do you get any profit from it?

Anyway, the other day I discovered Italian Brainrot. If you don't know what it is, it's best you never find out. It's brain rot. I just discovered brain rot too actually. It refers to this genre of content that is so stupid, it will rot your brain. It's nonsensical dumb content, things that literally make no sense, but are still addicting and silly and mesmerizing. The first one that I learned about was Cappucino Assassino. It's just an image of a Starbucks coffee cup wielding two katanas, and there is an associated audio in Italian with a guy going "Cappucino Assassino!" on repeat and saying some other words in Italian, and it is so brain rotting, holy moly, it has millions of views.

So I looked up this entire genre called "Italian Brain rot" and it is a trend that apparently just started this year. I figured I could make my own silly dumb brain rot characters, so that's what I did. So far I have created four characters: Papa Pipi, Mama Pupu, Oui Oui Pipi, and Cha Cha Choo Choo. It's so dumb. So dumb and brain rotting. I asked AI to make images and songs associated with these, and I started uploading them to social media. So far I've only uploaded Papa Pipi and Mama Pupu, and they have around 500 views so far. It's so dumb.

Anyway, a lot more stuff has also happened, but I am so tired again, so I'm going to sleep now, or soon.
