Curse these genetics. I have small sinuses, got it from my grandmother's side. But it causes me to get sinus infections extremely easily. Anytime I get sick there is a 90% chance I will get a sinus infection and sometimes I just get a sinus infections from my allergies being bad for a day or two. Like today, I got hit with a sinus infection out of the blue. Good thing I know how to deal with it I have my rice pack I heat up and apply heat to my sinuses for hours.
Finally feeling better after applying heat all day. This has been like this for my whole life. I have considered seeing an ear, nose, throat doctor but idk if it would even be worth it. There is nothing they can do but tell me, "Yep, your sinuses are terrible". There are surgeries that can be done to widen the sinuses but I doubt I would ever qualify to get that covered by insurance and even if I could afford it I would probably have to get it done again in like idk 30-40 years.
It is not that bad really, since I have a high pain tolerance. Just frustrating. I have to stop whatever I am doing and lay down in a dark room and apply heat for usually over half they day. A huge waste of time, especially since I will have a job soon. If I get a sinus infections I'll just have to suffer through or take the strongest sinus Tylenol I can find at turkey Hill.
Still continuing to see positive benefits of not having social media to doom scroll through. And like any addiction, still get urges/cravings. I talked to my mom though, who hasn't had social media for like 5 years now. And she says she doesn't even miss it anymore and hasn't for a while, which further confirms what I said about social media being an addiction. I always thought people were crazy when they said that. But now I believe them.
The weather is beautiful out. I am starting to get myself used to waking up at 7:30am and going to bed at 9pm. I am getting into a routine of showering in the morning as well. I always used to prefer showering in the evening but it feels good to wake up with a morning shower. Been working a lot more on my paint by number I am getting closer and closer to finishing it every day! I needed to think about getting a frame, but I won't be able to afford that until the end of next month at least, I have to buy a new phone this next month and pay for other things.
I lost my Spotify premium, hopefully I can get in back soon if I pass this job interview and start making money. I love Spotify, especially the DJ mode. Of course I have my ways of getting music for free. But I like the DJ mode on Spotify.
