New Updated and Enhanced Planner

We have updated and improved the Planner to help you organize your tasks much more effectively. Instead of just To Dos, Repeating To Dos, and Projects like with the old planner, there are now To Dos, Habits, Projects, and Goals.

To Dos - These are tasks that you just need to check off one time. There are a lot of new features added to To Dos as well such as Categories and Priorities.

Habits - These are now what the Repeating To Dos have become. These have been enhanced to have their own dedicated page so you can track all your habits there. Habits can now repeat every day, weekly, or even monthly, you pick when they repeat!

There are also three types of habits now:

  • Yes/No Habits: Habits that are simply a yes or no, such as "I cleaned my room today" or "I did not smoke today"
  • Numerical Habits: Habits that require you to complete a certain number of in a day. You can manually increment this by however you want with every check-off. For example I want to do 100 jumping jacks per day, every 10 I do, I can add 10 progress. It will keep track of it until you complete it for the day. If you do even more, you can add even more after you have completed it. This progress resets every day. The stats are tracked so you know how much you did this month, this year, etc.
  • Timed Habits: For habits that require a timer, for example "Exercise for 30 minutes", you can start a built-in timer and stop it once you finish working out. If it passes 30 minutes, or whatever time requirement you set, it will automatically complete the habit. This resets every day.

There are a lot of new features for habits as well, so play around with it!

Projects - These are just ways to organize the tasks that you have. Projects can store To Dos, Habits, and Goals, and are organized inside of the project like a folder.

Goals - For long term goals that require an indefinite time. This is similar to a To Do, but you can add progress and updates to a goal. For example your goal might be to lose 30 pounds. You can add progress every time you lose weight, as a negative number such as "-1" pounds, and the goal will track and save your progress for that day. As you add progress, you will eventually reach your goal.

There is also a new Calendar page which shows you past completions of any of your To Dos, Habits, Projects, or Goals.

Public Planner Pages - The public planner pages have been enhanced. Just click on the "Planner" section in the Public Entries page, and there is now a ranking system for To Dos, Habits, Goals, and Projects, the more you complete the higher your rank. Only tasks that you have made public will appear here and count towards your ranking.

All of your past To Dos, Repeating To Dos, and Projects, should have been migrated to this new enhanced planner page.

Please let us know if you run into any issues or have any suggestions for new features and changes. If anything would make your life easier, or if there's something that you don't like, feel free to suggest it.
