Last night I had 7 hours and 7 minutes of sleep. That's probably the 2nd time this entire year that I've had over 7 hours of sleep. It's not because my schedule is so busy that I have to wake up at a certain time or anything, I can sleep and wake up at any time I want. I only go to sleep when I'm tired, and I wake up whenever. I don't even set an alarm. However, my body just naturally wakes up after around 5 hours of sleep usually. I'm unable to go back to sleep after.
Today though, I checked my Apple Watch, and it said I had over 7 hours of sleep. That's incredible, because it's rare. I think it's because I have been exercising every day and I'm actually fatiguing my body now. Prior to this, I basically wasn't working out at all, and therefore my body wasn't as tired, and didn't want as much sleep. I wanted more sleep though. If it were up to me, I would sleep for 8-9 hours every night. But yeah, I let my body wake up on its own, and usually it's under 6 hours of sleep.
Look at all the habits that I did today. I did 33 pull-ups and 33 chin-ups. I did 60 push-ups and 60 squats. Then I did a bunch of other exercises. I did a bunch of chores. I did brain training. And I also worked today. I had a full work day today. I'm pretty exhausted.
What I learned is that if I really tried, I can do all of these workouts in around 2 hours. It still actually takes a while to do them, no matter what. Right now it takes me all day to do them. I just take breaks every 30 minutes or so, to do 10 push-ups, for example. Throughout the day, I complete all my exercises.
What I had trouble with today, at the end of the day, was with pull-ups and chin-ups. I did 33 of both today. My hands started to hurt near the end. There are calluses forming on my hand, and I pick them off unconsciously, so yeah, it hurts my hand to do pull-ups and chin-ups with torn open calluses. Other than that, the rest of the exercises were pretty easy. I can do over 4 minutes of wall-sits now, which is painful, but doable.
There was an article I encountered today, where some guy did 30 pull-ups every day for a month. He was so proud of doing this much that he made a video on it, and showed off his body transformation. I do 30-pull ups and 30 chin-ups daily. Of course, it's only been 3 days, not 30 days yet, but yeah, I'm already doing double that guy per day, plus a whole load of other workouts. What's insane is that this guy's body completely transformed. He became muscular from formerly skinny, and his abs started to show. Is this real? How is this possible?
I don't know if I will have any sort of similar result in 30 days, but you bet I will show off my body if I looked like him in just 30 days. I mean this guy's body really completely transformed. He looked like a total weakling at the start, no muscle at all, and then suddenly he has abs showing, his chest is built out, his arms grew like 1 inch in diameter (which is considerable!), and his face became handsome. I'm not even joking, the article is out there, he did 30 pull-ups every day for 30 days, just 30 pull-ups, and I'm doing double his, plus a bunch of other workouts.
I don't know if I will have any kind of results like him, but I will definitely show off my body if I did. I would show it off all the time, every day. I'd post pictures online. Yes, vanity photos, yes, showing off my muscles and appearance, yes it is vanity, but I've never experienced this in my life. I've never experienced being fit and handsome and muscular, in my entire life. Of course if I got it, then I would show off. Why not? I'm 32 years old, and have never had abs showing even once in my entire life. Hell yes I would show off my arms and biceps and muscles and abs and handsome face, if I ever got them.
The day ends so much more quickly now, it seems. Now that my days are filled up with a lot of activity, the day just seems to go by so much faster.I didn't even watch any anime today. I had some cartoons up while I was doing my wall sits and planks. These exercises are just so painful that I have to have some distractions to be able to do them better. It's been days since I watched any anime, I just think they are all so garbage now.
Even if I enjoyed them in the past, in hindsight, after experiencing them all, watching nearly every anime out there, in hindsight, nearly all of them suck. There are some decent ones, I think Overlord is one of the top, same with Legend of Galactic Heroes. I liked Yamada-Kun and the Seven Witches, too, and Kingdom. Actually, there are some very good ones. But I have seen them all already, and I'm not enjoying any of the anime in this season. I think the Water Magician sucks, and it's probably the best anime of this season, the rest are even worse.
I'm enjoying cartoons a lot more right now. South Park is sort of meh, I don't like it as much as I used to. The World of Warcraft episode was the peak for me. They had some vegan-related episodes as well, like Let Them Eat Goo, Willzyx, and Fun With Veal, which I thought were great, and the earlier seasons before Season 12 of South Park were good. Season 12 and later, for some reason, South Park went downhill. Their creativity just wasn't as good in my opinion, and they really matured the characters who are supposed to be 4th graders. That's just my opinion based on watching every episode. The current season of South Park is the worst so far, I didn't laugh once watching any of it.
I also enjoyed the cartoon Solar Opposites a lot. It's a great show. And Rick and Morty is excellent as well. They kind of fluctuate Rick's powers though, he was godlike at some point in like the 3rd season, and then later on they made him mortal and beatable again. My favorite cartoon right now is probably Krapopolis. It is hilarious. Who the heck came up with the cast of characters that Krapopolis has?
Oh, there's apparently a Season 10 of Futurama that came out this year. I haven't seen all the episodes yet, just the first episode. Futurama has historically been a good show, it's one of the deeper ones, they hide so much detail in the show, everything is thought out. In one of the episodes, the one where they are switching bodies, they actually came up with a theorem proven in the episode. That's pretty insane and cool. Also, all the weird alien languages are translatable to English.
That's the crazy thing people don't realize about shows and video games, is that usually things are planned out so much deeper than you realize. When they show a certain scene in a game or show, like a scene that takes place in a room, the creators have probably planned out the entire building and every room in that building, and you are just shown one room of it. They have also probably planned out the entire city itself that the building is in, and you are just shown that one room.
What's even crazier is that in many games and shows, there are sometimes random characters that just appear in the background, and you would think they are just random characters, but they actually have a full background. Oh yeah, this is the case for South Park. Literally every student in the 4th grade class has a name and distinct appearance. If you know who they are, you will see them in the class. There's the obvious ones like Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny, and the other supporting characters, but there's so many background characters as well that you just think are background characters, but they actually have a name and background. It's the case for Futurama too, every random character in the background has a name.
There is actually so much planned out in world building. Sometimes random characters are just random characters, and sometimes places are not planned out at all. But in really good works, these things are all planned out. I mean the characters have to be drawn in, they have to be animated, same with the places, like the places have to be consistent if they ever use the same location again. So it's often that the characters have full names and their appearance is consistent and tracked and recorded, and same with the places. In the South Park video games, you can actually traverse the entire town, and you can see how all the locations connect to each other.
If they even have a room planned out in a video game, if they ever let you walk outside that room, of course the entire area around it has to be built in. So they usually have the entire building layout planned. Then of course if they allow you to leave the building, then the surrounding area has to be planned, so of course the entire place is planned. But you don't even notice it. You might think there's not that much detail, but there is.
Then the random text and symbols in books and shows, they might not be random, and they may actually translate to something. Again, people had to deliberately draw or write that information in there. Sometimes shows and games create entirely new languages just to do that, like Klingon in Star Trek, or that Na'vi language in Avatar, both are real and usable languages just made for their shows. You may not even know a show or game does this too, you might just think it's random. I think Lord of the Rings does this as well, many of the scriptures written in the fictional languages of Middle Earth are translatable to English. Entire regions are planned out too, that the main characters never visit.
Oh yeah, that's the case with Diablo as well. Even though you only visit a handful of places in the Diablo series, they actually have the entire world of Sanctuary planned out in Diablo, and many different places and cities and regions that you never get to visit. In the very first game of Diablo, many of the characters and places are mentioned that never make an appearance except in later games. Isn't that interesting? I just think that's fascinating.
Anyway, I should get some sleep. I wish I had a girlfriend.
