daily jumble

A mess of assorted thoughts:

• My daylight savings buff has completely worn off. I woke up around 8:45 today, which is a totally normal time for me to wake, but it didn’t feel like sleeping in. It just felt like morning.
• Time is sliding sideways for me. Is it Thursday or Friday? (It’s Thursday, but I had to check my phone to confirm.) When checking if people are senile, some common questions are “What day of the week is it? What date is it?” and I would FAIL. For dates especially, I always have to consult my computer/phone.
• It tilts me that “black” and “white” bases are both brown. If you want black, you need to pick “jet,” and if you want white, you need “clear white.”
• I like adol jaglions, but the adults are so unserious. An adol pose scroll is pretty much required imo. At some point I want to get an elderly (no heats) jag to freeze. Then I will Have a Hybrid (tm) but I won’t have to shell out for breeding items every heat. Also, freezing a lion wipes their stats (why??) so I wouldn’t want to freeze someone who has been a lifelong pack member.
• It’s wild to me that some people’s kings are approaching retirement and they have no plan for their heir. I have the opposite problem: too many plans. I am free from the shackles of dynastic reign. My next king can be anyone and it’s so exciting. My heir, casino night zone, takes over in February, and I’m already thinking about my next heir. I was considering mut repping an ennedi vossoko, but then I heard a new mut (mngwa) is getting released on Black Friday, so I might go for that instead. However, do I copy casino’s appearance or go for something totally new? Maybe go full event marks instead of having all this BO taking up space? Hm…
• Pokemon Sleep has this weird dynamic where being a better ingredient mon means less time on the team. The more efficient you are at finding the target ingredient(s), the more quickly I can swap you out. Sometimes I have an ingredient flex spot where I swap between multiple ingredient mons; sometimes it’s a general flex spot where I run an ingredient mon when necessary and a berry mon the rest of the time. I’m currently working on getting my mono honey Venusaur to 60 and it’ll be great because he’ll get honey so fast and then I can boot him off the squad.
• I almost forgot what day of the week it was AGAIN (I was like “is tomorrow Saturday?”) but then I remembered writing this entry and stabilized.
