Today is Thursday, August 20th 2020, and yes I am very very surprised at how fast the week went by. Honestly it feels like a Tuesday today. Maybe that's just due to my lack of activities, or sole focus on one activity?
Anyway, yesterday (Wednesday) I entered some contest and today it was announced I won second place, and a prize of about $800. Seems like a good win, and yeah I'm happy I won, but man the activity was so stupid. I hate being vague but there are some things I have to be vague on. I would hate to see me associated with this contest. Good thing I used an anonymous account as my entry.
Yeah that's the activity I was into for the past few days. I'm going to quit at some point and focus back on my life. Back to 10k steps a day walking, writing journal entries, keeping logs, tracking finances, etc.
So today was a good day for work. I was able to get a lot of work done, I learned a bunch of new stuff with the new project that they gave me.
Outside of work was just this same activity though. I also watched some Twilight Zone, some episodes I haven't seen yet. I really liked that Ovation episode, and I like how personal these episodes get. My favorite is still the Airplane episode, the second in the series, and I rewatched that again. What I enjoy the most about the new Twilight Zone series is that they get so deep and personal with each individual character. It goes to show we all have our own problems, even people "at the top" didn't get there straight away nor with certainty.
I mean the Ovation episode I really liked because they showed what it was like to go from a loser to a celebrity. I also saw the episode in which there was that pyschic girl. There was one more I saw, or maybe it was just those three. Oh yeah I also saw the Wunderkind, another personal tale about how even "people at the top" aren't all perfect, because the main character is the world's best campaign manager and he fails miserably in the beginning. None of the endings I saw shocked me, I literally predicted some of the endings just by reading the description, like that psychic girl episode, I predicted one of them might not be real, just based on that description, and I was right. The Wunderkind episode though, that had a very good twist ending I didn't expect.
All these episodes rated pretty lowly, because they have bad endings. Negative endings, but in my opinion they were good episodes.
