So I saw this video in my recommendations earlier. I was surprised and got curious about it, so I shared it to my best friend and watched the video afterwards. It’s still the pomodoro technique, but replaced with “anime”. I still don’t understand how you’re going to do it, but from what I’ve understood, you work 45-60mins on a task, then reward yourself with 1 episode. It’s not only limited to anime, you can also watch some sitcoms and etc. You can check out the video here: https://youtu.be/bUjGZJIgse0
Currently what I’m doing is I work on a task for 5 mins, then take a break for 25 minutes. If I feel like I’m in the zone to continue the task, I will continue working on it. This is based on a reddit post that I’ve read last year. I like the idea of it actually. Also, the 5 minute break in the pomodoro technique isn’t enough for me. I would usually watch yt videos during breaks, so a 5 minute break is too little. Like the only thing that keeps me insane this quarantine is food and anime. It’s a win-win for me xd. I’ll try to do it within this week and see if it would work for me.
That's basically what I do now too! Sometimes I work in longer chunks, hours at a time, and then have a longer period of reward as well, it varies for me depending on the task.
