Snowed Today

8:47 AM (of Monday, February 8th 2021)

Today is Sunday, February 7th 2021 and when I woke up this morning it was snowing extremely hard in my area. Opening the blinds, all I could see through the window was white and snow everywhere. It was a great sight to look upon. It felt like real winter, when everything was covered in snow.

By 11 AM though the snowing turned into raining, and by 1 PM pretty much everything had melted. There were still some areas with a little bit of snow, but there was such a small amount. It's kind of unbelievable because just a few hours before, everything was covered in quite deep snow, and the snow falling from the skies were thick and visible. Then almost as soon as it came, it melted, on the same day, within hours.

I miss winters where we had snow and they would last for a week or more. Now snow can't even last a day without melting, and we rarely get any snow days anymore where I am, even in winter. I haven't had to wear any thick jackets anytime I went out, heck I've worn shorts and sandals while walking outside a few times this winter already. All this global warming is solvable too. We could clear up greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by just ditching animal products and have plenty of other environmental benefits too, but that would involve sparing animals from torture and abuse, something we say we are for, but in reality are completely against based on our daily actions and purchases.

Anyway today I mainly stayed at home and just browsed the Internet and Discord. I had such a fun time, it's so unbelievable how much time can pass by online even if it seems like I'm not doing anything or not doing much. I'm on my computer the entire day doing a bunch of different things and having the time of my life basically, without games. With Granage it was a grind-fest, and I wasn't learning anything new or doing anything difficult. What I did at level 15 I also did at level 39 (one level away from maximum), just at a higher level against monsters with more HP.

I need to start working on my projects again and also start working on homework earlier. I had all weekend to work on homework, but I don't even know what assignments I have since I haven't even gone online to check. It's not that I don't think homework is important, but I was so occupied by many other activities and people talking to me on Discord that I didn't even think about school at all the entire day.

There's so much I want to do, and seemingly so little time. Apparently it was the Superbowl today? I didn't even know. I like sports, I like sometimes watching athletes go at it, but I'm not up to date on any of those unless they are extremely popular like the Superbowl.

Anyway that was my day today.
