I've got a bad cold. Ordinarily I wouldn't bother mentioning this, but it seems more significant in the Year of the Plague, even though I'm pretty sure it's not covid. It began Thursday with a mild sore throat, then progressed over the weekend to a constant runny nose and just generally feeling crappy. (No fever, no chest cough, no shortness of breath, no fatigue, no loss of taste/smell.)
It's mindboggling how I even caught this bug. Our last grocery delivery was on February 1, and I haven't been out of the apartment since then, nor has my roommate. Technically I have walked around 20 steps down the hallway to the trash chute. I didn't encounter anyone, but maybe someone coughed or sneezed in the hall before I walked by? Who knows. Annoying.
I also broke my streak of going outside on my balcony every day. It was -1 degrees out, and considering how sick I am, I decided that heading out there was not the best idea. Back in mid-September (when I made the resolution to head out there every day) I did say that I might implement a temperature floor, so I think this is a reasonable decision.
Also, we progged Shiva. Sort of. We spent the better part of two hours dying to Light Rampant like the champs we are. But we did have a handful of clears, and we're working on figuring out the mirror phase afterwards, as well as the add phase. Our major accomplishment of the day (tm) was getting to the add phase once with everyone alive. I get to bust out the silencing attack that I haven't used since Allagan Rot. What a throwback.
