8:14 (of Thursday, April 9th 2020)
Today is Thursday, April 2nd 2020 and I don't recall much of today. What I do remember is that today was a very very busy day. There was a work assignment given to me on Monday and I wanted to get it done before Friday. So I doubled down on it and pretty much worked the entire working hours, not steering away my concentration or too long. I got what I needed to get done today and it was a good day because of that.
I don't remember much else that happened today to be frank. What did I do before or after work? I think this was the day where I decided to stop running until I lost some weight. No wait, I think that was yesterday. I watched some running videos, and I have been running 5+ miles a day for a few days now without any issues, but I have seen and heard that running injuries are very common. I think it may be because we run on the concrete and hard sidewalk, which is very hard on the knees and joints. I run mainly on the concrete and sidewalks, and I am about 30 pounds overweight, and I do feel that impact on my legs. So I decided yesterday that I would stop running until I dropped some weight.
In the meantime, I could bicycle as an alternative to running. Yesterday I called up a bike shop and asked them to come over to fix my bike. They said they'll come by to pick it up on Friday. I'll write about that experience the next day after this one. But yeah, I decided to take a break from running and even then I won't do it as much. Maybe a mile a day or something, and the rest of the time will be spent cycling.
After work was over I don't recall much else of what I did. I pretty much just chilled, maybe watch some YouTube.
