The good thing about 24 hour vlogs is that I'm on camera the whole time, so I'm not tempted to do "that", and ruin my sobriety. It's been around 24 hours since I last "messed up" or did "that", and I already want to do it again. I'm an addict, this is my strongest weakness, the biggest problem that I know of in my life. I just want to stop the activity completely, but it's very hard. It's very hard.
I started the vlog last night at 12 AM though, and doing that made me not want to touch myself the whole day while I was awake. Today was another good 24 hour vlog attempt I guess. The camera turned off on its own again, around 10 hours in. The battery died this time, apparently the USB port on this surge protector power strip was insufficiently charging the camera as it recorded. I had to use another USB port that plugged directly into the outlet, to be able to record and charge at the same time. So that ruined the streak.
I recorded myself sleeping, exercising, pooping, and this time even taking a shower. Of course I tilted the camera upwards so nothing below could be seen while taking a shower or pooping. I pooped in less than 30 seconds this time, timed again on camera.
Throughout the rest of the day I danced and sang, I worked using the standing desk in my computer room instead of the floor in the living room like normal. The entire day I just stood up, and danced, and sang. I got really tired from standing after around 8 hours of standing though. I just wanted to sit down, but I had to keep standing until work was over.
After work there was a lizard I found in the bathroom. I don't know how these critters get inside. How do the mosquitoes keep coming in here? How do other insects and now lizards?
Anyway I'm really sleepy, so I am going to sleep. I could have written so much more, but I am so sleepy.
Hey, if filming all day works to discourage a habit you want to stop then I say keep doing it! (Unless it wears you out too much, I suppose)
I wish lizards would just show up in my house omg do you know what kind they are? I've heard iguanas actually are a problem in some places in PR. Can't imagine one of those wandering inside lol
@iyazo It's a really tiny lizard, like length of a pinky, probably size of a pinky tbh. I have no idea how it got in or how these mosquitoes keep getting in, where are they coming from? The mosquitoes endlessly torment me, and they are hard to catch. I've gotten 4 bites today as I'm writing this comment.
@JustMegawatt Ah jeez I thought you had something installed to prevent them getting in...no luck?
Reminds me of my grandma's house. There used to be these little green lizards I'd see running up near the ceiling. I never found out what kind they were but they were cute. Mosquitoes are awful though.
@iyazo Yeah I taped every single window shut, and I've reviewed every nook and cranny of this apartment, there literally should be no entrances in here, no holes, no gaps, nothing.
