Ok, so I have been able to come up with what Diao is supposed to do. I have a basic logo that I designed for Diao and I can focus on having 15 second to 1 minute shorts that are related to history and memes (possibly combining both). During the weekend, I will work on taking notes on how to create a basic YouTube short using Powerpoint, Photoshop, and Filmora. With these programs, I can create some shorts that people can hopefully learn from while having some fun with the byte-sized information. After I learn enough about how this works, I should be able to potentially post at least one short a week during every weekend. That way, my subscribers will know that they will have regular content that could entertain them and know that their subscription was not for nothing. As you can easily see above, I am using a sketch pad in order to draw out my ideas for what I want to do with the channel before I actually try them out. This will help me organize my thoughts and make small 'storyboards' for some of the shorts I hope to create. This channel is tied to my personal Google account and will be utilized to post YouTube shorts related to what I personally find interesting.
Considering the niche that I am going for, I am not sure I will be able to make any money, at least not immediately. That is ok though. I am using this channel as more of a hobby and a creative outlet, not as something I can use to immediately make money from. Plus, I have an account on Reddit & I can use my Reddit account to potentially spread awareness of my YouTube channel once I have some videos related to my niche actually up on Diao. Hopefully, I can make videos that are created in a similar vein to meme accounts I enjoy like Arcade Assassin, AnimatedGlitch, and Berd (while being far more educational and valuable as a short hand learning tool).
On another note, I am still trying to guarantee that at least most of my entries, when it comes to journaling, go up to 400 words. I just keep reminding myself that so I always have that in mind as a goal & don't waste any words writing about topics I don't care about. YouTube and having a creative outlet for my love of memes and history is one of those things I know that I personally care about.
