Not a great start

So after my new year entry, I was so happy, I met my friends the next day we hung out for a couple of hours. Went to Starbucks, then to a book store where we read some manga and came back home. Until this, it was all a great start to this new year.

But...

Rona cases started rising in my country and two new variants were spreading rapidly in my state too. The next day when I went to college I got a sore throat, and some of my friends were absent because they were sick but I did not take it that seriously until I got a fever. It was then I realized, I might have rona too.

Came home took a rapid test, and well I was right, both I and my mom were positive despite completing vaccination we were both positive and my dad had some symptoms too.

So I was pretty much resting all the time for some days now, I wanted to write something here but couldn't.

As of today, my condition is much better, I don't have a fever but my throat is still sore, still have a cough and a runny nose. I am taking medicines daily and on time, so I hope I will feel better in some time. And turns out literally half of the world is sick right now. Everywhere I go on the internet I see memes about being sick.

I can say one thing for sure that vaccines did help us a lot. Because if you get rona and you are fully vaccinated, then there is a very low chance that it gets serious. You can just rest at home, follow all the guidelines, take your medicines on time and you are good to go in less than a week. And I am saying that because I've seen people get rona when they are not vaccinated at all, and trust me it is the worst case right now.
