Today is Saturday, February 12th 2022. I think I did a lot today. I didn't watch any anime or anything like that until around 4 or 5 PM. The rest of the time was spent doing actually productive things, such as exercising and cleaning up and other chores. The time still went by pretty fast and I barely remember what I did, but I'm pretty sure that's what happened.
I fasted too, until I walked outside for a bit over an hour at a park, and then I reasoned to myself that I should get something to eat at Frescura Vegan Kitchen because I was hungry. I drove to the closest walking / cycling park I know here, and it's like 30 minutes away. I walked around 3 miles total for over an hour in total, and the path still went on for a long distance, so I know now that it goes on for quite a while. I honestly thought, before walking there today, that I could reach the end and back very easily, but nope, I walked, it rained sometimes, and it went on forever. I also encountered a giant iguana while walking around and took a picture.
Oh I got onto Instagram today and I messaged some people. Wahl messaged me a week ago and I didn't tell her I was getting off social media for two weeks, so I thought I would reply to her. She says she had that very delayed reply because she was busy with work, working 2-3 jobs and didn't get on social media much. I also messaged RadicallyWild who also didn't know I would be off social media for two weeks, he told me about how he met a celebrity at a beach that has over 16 million followers and this celebrity waved at him but he didn't go over which was a mistake. And I messaged Aloe and asked her out to a valentine's day dinner, and she said she had work that day until 10 PM.
I also discovered this website today called PlayerAuctions.com and there are literally accounts for sale there at all the major MMORPG games like World of Warcraft, Runescape, Valorant, League of Legends and more. These players have spent 500+ hours or 1000+ hours or more, playing their games and getting really good stats or maxed stats even, and you can just buy an account from them for like $1000. That's like $1 to $2 per hour of gameplay that they played. Honestly it took me over 1000 hours of play time to get one of my characters in World of Warcraft from level 1 to level 60, and I got to level 60 in 2006, and I had been playing since 2004. So it took me two years to get max level, back when it took a really long time to get to max level back in the day and barely anyone was max level.
Now it's possible to get to max level in a week I think, in World of Warcraft. That was unheard of back in the day. The same thing with MapleStory, people can get to max level in two days now, whereas it took months and years actually to get to max level back in the day. I think people's attention span either improved or worsened today because maybe people are fed up of grinding, or maybe they can't pay attention and grind things out anymore. I just remember that I played MapleStory for a few months and I only got to level 44 or something like that back in the day. Then I played it again recently, maybe 2020 or 2019, and I got to level 140 or something within a day which is insane. That is super insane.
What fascinated me the most about Player Auctions is that you can buy maxed out Runescape accounts. These accounts have 2277 points in their stats, meaning that literally everything in their account is maxed out. I have no idea how long it takes to get maxed stats, but I'm guessing 1-2 years of playing every day. I remember when I used to play Runescape, I was a very high ranking person in everything. I played back in 2002 probably, maybe 2003, definitely before 2004, and back then the game was still brand new basically.
I played what is now called "Runescape Classic" and I was like 9 or 10 years old when I played. The game had crazy good graphics from my memory and it was crazy complicated. I was confused and befuddled pretty much most of the time that I played, but I got to a high level, like level 63 or something, and I was higher level than basically everyone else in the game. All my skills were also high at the time, and yeah, I surpassed the person who introduced me to the game. He was only level 47 or something at the most, and I got to 63 and completed all the quests and all the tasks that were available at the time.
I had some very rare items that you could only get back then, like event only items like the Green Halloween mask and santa hat. These items sell for like $80 now or something, last time I checked. Maybe more! Wow, I just checked just now, and the green Halloween masks are worth like $140 now. Honestly I feel like buying a "Maxed Out" Runescape account that has 2277 stat points, because everything is maxed out. I wonder how much time they spent on this game to get everything maxed out like that? And then some random stranger will just buy the account from them for like a dollar per hour of the time they spent on it. I would not be happy with a trade like that.
There's also maxed out Maplestory accounts. But what's the point? Maplestory doesn't have that many players anymore. It used to be very cool and crazy fun back in the day. There's also a bunch of crazy level 90+ accounts on the new Diablo 2 Resurrected game, for sale for like a few hundred dollars. That's pretty crazy cheap because I'm assuming it took months to get to level 90+, and then it's just being sold for a few day's worth of work basically.
That was my day today.
