What is my role in all this? I didn't sing the song, I didn't create the background music, I didn't do the final mixing, I didn't create the artwork, I didn't write the lyrics. I did try some of these on my own on the very fist song by Megawattz Music which was called Imma Make Me Win, I wrote those lyrics and I also did the vocals, and then I hired someone else to produce the music and also mix my vocals in. The ending result sucked! A lot! So I never did that again. It's way better to hire someone else that already has the years of experience and practice working on this field rather than try and learn it all myself in a short time.

My role varies for each song, like for one of the songs I spent a lot of time trying to get the lyrics to match the song and tempo, and then I also rewrote some of the lyrics, and I also did some editing for that song and another song, so my roles depend! For this one, I don't think I did much in terms of editing or adding much to the final product, but this was 5-6 months ago so I don't remember that much!

What I did do for all these songs though, was I hired all those people that worked on all the other parts and organized the whole thing. Obviously their skills at each of their roles and fields are far superior to mine, they are at levels I can’t even imagine reaching. I told them my vision for the song type I wanted, and they got to work, and then I worked on combining their products together in the end. None of them had any contact with anyone else on the team! Their only point of contact was me. I provided the singer with the lyrics, and she provided the vocals which I gave to the mixer, and the music producer made the music to match, and so on. I guess I coordinated it all, and I paid for it all, and I get full credits and rights and ownership to all these songs and the resulting product.

For all these songs, their separate parts (music, lyrics, vocals) were all created in different orders. For two songs the background music came first, for one the lyrics came first. Another song was called You're The Best Thing I've Ever Had (feat. Lexi Johnson). For this song, the background music came first, and then I asked the vocalist to hum a melody for this background music. After we had the melody, I asked the lyricist to write lyrics based on this melody and the theme that I wanted (a love song), and then I was the one that put the lyrics and the melody and the background music together in combination for the timing! So certain words would be sung at certain parts, and I was the one that timed those!

I asked the lyricist to also give her version of the timing of the song, and she did, but I thought it wasn't as good as mine. So I sung the song in my crappy voice to sing the song in the right timing for the background music, and sent that to the vocalist to sing. I think this is my favorite song of the three, You're The Best Thing I've Ever Had (feat. Lexi Johnson), because of the perfect timing and sequence of the song. I think it was so good.

The last song was called Android Girlfriend and I also spent some time on that song myself, getting the timing for the lyrics right, and also doing some editing and stuff like that. What I noticed was that there were even parts I saw that could be improved that the mixer couldn’t, so I worked on editing those parts myself manually. Of course my skill in this was limited, but I still spent many hours on it, and got it to the result I was looking for.

I meant to upload all these songs months back, like back in January or even December, but I got distracted or some other excuse.

Anyway I uploaded all of those song this morning (Monday) and it wasn’t hard at all. I signed up for the website Distrokid and distributed the song that way. I wanted to use amuse.io and tried that first today (Monday), but they didn’t accept my credit card. So whatever, I looked for an alternative, and DistroKid was it.

It only took a couple of hours to upload the songs and artwork and fill in all the necessary fields. I don’t know why I procrastinated months on this when it was so quick and easy to do. I told my Spanish tutor that I promised to do it though, so I did, I couldn’t let her down.

The rest of the day was spent semi-productively. This uploading music bit of the day was my biggest accomplishment. I posted about these songs on Facebook and got six likes. I did do some other work every now and then. I’m gonna sign off 4 hours for Stealth Launch today! I did some work for Vegpal too, although not much today I admit, I was extremely lazy today.

I went out and got some Mama Pacha’s, and then I did a bunch of regretful activities the rest of the day. So regretful!

Wahl has still not replied to my messages yet so I was feeling extremely insecure about that. For basically the whole day, although I distracted myself from thinking about it by doing other activities.

I talked to my Facebook friend Don and we are fasting together until the end of the month starting tomorrow. He has already been fasting for two days. I need to fast myself to lose weight.

And then I read claymore the rest of the night. I actually have not read it until the end. Of course I know what happens, somehow, maybe I caught wind of spillers earlier or something, but yeah I got close to the end of it.

Anyway that was my day today.
