An awards ceremony was held in my house at night. I was in my bedroom with the lights off because I was not involved in the ceremony, and also I was sleeping. I saw my brother leave the guest bedroom, where he had been staying, and head to the living room to receive his award.
I had received a gift package, including a book that was a compilation of responses from a bunch of famous people being asked, “Give us a thought or a quote” without further context. I started idly leafing through the book. Multiple people had independently sent in Calvin & Hobbes strips as their quote, which was pretty sweet.
