Another Flight Rising quirk: When selling a G1, the value goes way down if it’s been bred.
I sort of get this one. When I was brand new to FR and going on my first day buying spree, one of the dragons that caught my eye was an adult male wildclaw, starcon (I think) with silver filigree. Very handsome dude. But he was around 5 months old and had a bunch of kids. It felt weird, I guess, that he had a wife and kids and basically a bunch of history/lore that I would never know about. More importantly, I didn’t like his given name and didn’t know you could buy renaming scrolls for only 6kt. So I passed him up.
I later bought two dragons with kids (Zenobia and Almagest), and it doesn’t make me like them any less. Zenobia even has unnamed kids ooooooo. It's fine. But my lore is pretty ad-hoc/freewheeling/flexible. If someone has lore plans for a dragon that don’t jive with them having a past lover and/or kids, it makes sense they wouldn’t want any offspring in the list.
