There are two wolves inside of me and they’re both waiting for the re-release of wildclaw scrolls. No one knows when The Return will be, but it’s been nearly a year since they’ve been in stock, and people are predicting they may come back for Black Friday. Whenever it is, they’ll arrive with no warning, stock for around two weeks, and then vanish for an indefinite period of time.
Wolf 1: Keep 2kg on hand at all times so you can buy a scroll.
Wolf 2: You don’t need a wildclaw scroll. However, you do need modern flecks x2, and the price will plummet during that week as people frantically try and rustle up gems.
Julep and Zayin have both been waiting forever for the price of flecks to drop. In late August to early September, it was around 450-500g. During pirate week, it plunged to 330g. In retrospect it was probably just due to people farming/buying the pirate gem gear, but I was hopeful that it was a genuine price drop. No such thing. After pirate week it immediately rebounded to 400+.
In theory I could just wait until NotN. That’s the smart money. That’s a long time away, though.
(Of note: In the time I’ve been waiting for flecks, I’ve bought aberration glowtail [500g] twice. But that’s a bona fide gem marketplace gene, not a coli gene. Paying 400+ for a coli gene just feels wrong.)
