- been a long time since I kept a fodder dragon specifically because an outfit looked good on them! definitely would not have expected the camo smirch dragon to be the keeper. but I liked the outfit enough that I was like “we should keep a swampy dragon at some point” …and then it’s like, hey, we have a swampy dragon at home
- surprisingly, her ugly genes are perfect, because piebald + smirch gives her a cool face mask. and it’s refreshing to have an apparel spam dragon who is manifestly not too cool-looking to cover up

- it’s like clockwork: 20 days after a new ancient release, people nest their clanbound hatches, the triple basic kids get put on the AH as fodder, I buy them, and I decide to keep them. we love g2s in this house.
- I was slightly on the fence about this guy, but I had a whole lore thing for him written in my head (he’s the obligatory legendary blacksmith) and you gotta take the lore where you find it.

- someone was putting freshly hatched nocs on AH for way below fodder floor, one after another. I missed a few, but through diligent refreshing was able to snag one of them. THEN IT WAS CUTE OOPS

- it’s been literally forever since we kept a Zeke-line spiral (or anyone from Zanarkand’s branch of the family). LET’S FIX THAT.
- this is part of our wack project to breed a spruce triple (likely using a spruce triple in the process, so we aren’t even creating a new line. I just want one in the lineage). this lad is -3/+3/+2, which is our closest, but that’s not why we’re keeping him. I’m just enchanted by robin pinstripe.
