Another big month…can’t even really blame honse for this one, since we only got two honse. But we’ve knocked out three more breeding projects, plus a longtime saved scry, so that’s cool.

- august released a mystery box skin for 850g. A whale and a moon. You know the drill. At first I thought, “Nice art, but not enough of my vibe to need it.” Then I saw someone selling it ON SALE for 750g and impulse bought it. And then I found a matching dragon for cheap.

- So I wanted a male abyss/clay/abyss to be Sylvain’s mate. A few months ago I bought a near-miss female but haven’t done anything since (not even searching for mates).
- Today, out of the blue, cyanocittas CRs me a hatchling. She saw it on my wishlist and decided to breed him for me?? He’s even a g2?? omg?????

- Another for the “may not truly be permanent” pile. But now that I have a Razanei-line spruce triple, I obviously need to make more of them. Skydancers and off-the-shelf gened dragons have a poor track record in this clan…but I like his fancy hat…so we’ll see how it goes.

- Pre-release, I said I wouldn’t make a cirri breeding pair. I’m just not into horses. But then the breed was released and they scry so well and I kinda blacked out and bought a g2 to pair with my Razanei/Caspian kid.

- I’ve had this scry since I noticed fuchsia crest gives the dragon a lil trans flag tucked behind their ear. Today I saw someone posting about their trans flag breeding project and decided to check dragon search. white/robin/fuchsia came up empty, but robin piebald works just as well. He's the first piebald/paisley/crest dragon on site.

- my goofiest breeding project (a Razanei-line triple) is now complete.
- I just realized I have no ongoing breeding projects. It’s a weird feeling. I started Breed Out the Ugly in February 2024, then BOTU II in June 2024. The magenta soap project also began in June 2024, and spawned the Hyzenthlay and Maboroshi projects, the latter of which just finished last month…so yeah, it’s been a long time since the docket was empty. Makes me want to start something new.

- I’ve been happily breeding Nilry & Dippin’ Dots and selling the hatchlings for several months. But the actual reason I made them a couple was that Dippin’ Dots’ primary is slightly non-ideal and I wanted to try for a better one. It’s such a chill breeding project I forgot about it. But here we are! Cream is possibly my favorite primary in their range (bubblegum-orca), and it’s on a male imperial.

- Mirzzen (cherry koi, magenta soap project): I tried real hard to like this guy. tbh if you have to try that hard to like a dragon, they probably aren’t for you.
- Razzmatazz (progen g3 fae, Anatoli x Moglinicki) [rehomed]: I don’t ever think about this guy. I like him well enough, but “well enough” is not good enough these days. Also I mentioned my dilemma in chat and sponty immediately banged out a half dozen similar-but-better-looking scries.
- Haurahi (guardian, abyss/clay/steel): she’s not bad, just redundant. we already got Renoir, so we don’t need her for breeding. we have plenty of abyss/clay (and Ryuunosuke with denim/clay). outfit-wise, she looks good in ominous hunter, but Renzokuken is way better
