July acquisitions: [+4, -0]
Low-acquisition, high-budget month. All the budget went into the g2 imp. tbh I was On Vacation™ and basically did no money earning or fodder training during the latter half of the month—sorry boss!
Bought: (2)
- Dizonno (July 14, 30g): female bogsneak | abyss basic | copper myrid | spruce koi
- [originally: skydancer, bee]
- Bought for Talonmaster’s Mistral Monarch. bog skin! bog skin!
- Being a mixed lair is so good because I can go “I want abyss/copper/x with lightning eyes, let’s see what AH has to offer” and AH is like “no problem, would you like spruce or copper tert?”
- [name] (July 19, 1kg) [g2]: female imperial | cerulean starmap | storm jester | wine runes
- [originally: bee, capsule]
- we love expensive impulse buy!! I’ve wanted a g2 imp for a while, and a dragon with storm jester, so this is perfect despite being DIY. I’ve been hanging around the g2 imp scene for long enough I know you gotta buy fast and be prepared to regene.
Hatched: (2)
- Miriel (March 22): female nocturne | sky metallic | storm bee | ruby filigree
- [lineage: Bedwyr x Ragnorra]
- On July 6, I put my fodderlocke on hiatus and liquidated everyone below level 10. Haven’t been feeling it for a while. But I decided we’re keeping Miriel. She’s got great lore (murdering her way to the top, office classix) and appearance (we love red-and-teal, and she’s legit good with her filigree jewels matching her eyes/skin).
- Lyrune (March 31): female sandsurge | denim ragged | aqua arowana | marigold warrior
- [lineage: Razanei x Caspian]
- [originally: mirror | lionfish | noxtide | basic]
- our almost-horse! at the time, it was close between her and Mortizar for the position of clan cirrus. in retrospect though, Mortizar was definitely the right call. Lyrune plays much better as a surge. and surges just got a gene update so it’s win-win.
