Also speaking of daily life activities, I’ve been cleaning the house, since Dad will be here on Friday. He’s mostly here to pick me up for a weekend at brother's place, but there’s enough slack time in the schedule for him to tut about the state of the house, and I wanted to give him a minimum of ammo.
On Wednesday I vacuumed. My vacuum is incredibly half-assed. It sucks hair out of the treads of the carpet, but doesn’t suck it up into itself, just deposits it in hairballs on the carpet. Then I have to go around on my hands and knees to manually claw up the hairballs and throw them in the trash. I logged roughly 3200 steps and 21 active zone minutes from vacuuming. (I think the steps were partially fictitious—Fitbit interpreted me clawing up hairballs from the carpet as walking—but the active zone minutes were real.) I also cleaned the entranceway floor and took out several bags of trash (bathroom, bedroom, living room, misc).
Wednesday evening my right wrist/arm were hurting. I think I strained it while vacuuming lmao. By Thursday morning it was feeling better. I was like “I should take it easy” but I also washed the dishes and scrubbed the sinks and kitchen countertops and cleaned the kitchen floor and then my wrist started aching again. OKAY FINE. Taking it easy. But I did throw out the sprouting potatoes and a few miscellaneous bags/boxes and take out the big kitchen trash. House is looking downright decent. Dad may disagree.
