A Good Day For Once

8:40 PM

Today was a good day. I didn't do anything that I overly regret today. It was awesome.

Okay I also didn't do anything too grand today. I didn't study for an hour. I didn't really work on anything creative. However, I did do more workouts today than normal, and I ate less than usual too. I should have eaten in a caloric deficit today. Maybe I only ate around 1000 calories today, seriously.

I went for a push-ups max, and two years ago, I was able to do 45 in a row. Now I was only able to do 17 in a row. A big decline. However, I did more push-up sets and ultimately ended up doing 92 total push-ups today. I have a new plan and strategy for my exercises now. I'm going to try and do 500 push-ups tomorrow, it is possible if I do 50 per hour. It doesn't seem too hard. This might be possible. I have done this before in the past, I did 2 days where I did 500 push-ups.

However, this time, I will add in my other exercises as well, so that's the challenging part. Doing the pull-ups and chin-ups is physically taxing.

Speaking of taxing, I'm also worried for my taxes, my business ones are due tomorrow, and my tax advisor said yesterday he would send me a draft tomorrow morning and that everything looks good. Sigh. I hope it happens. I'm pretty anxious and stressed about this.

I retired my Quick Math Daily and my Vocal Image daily habits today. For the Quick Math Daily, I outgrew it, I am rank 1 in every single topic and category by a wide margin. There is no competition for me, and I have already mastered all of the math that it can provide. Quick Math Daily only goes up to 20x20, and at this point, I have all multiplication from 1x1 to 20x20 memorized. I can do 17x16 in an instant, it is 272, any multiplication, 19x19 is 361, too easy. 18x18 is 324, 18x19 is 342, 18x17 is 306, 18x16 is 288, 18x15 is 270, 18x14 is 252, and so on. Too easy for me.

Actually, there is something... So I have the most random 1x1 to 20x20 multiplication problems solved in a row, at over 400. The second place person has over 300, and then the third place has like 70, and the 4th has like 28. So I'm in first by a wide margin. There is a sort of mental fatigue that happens at over 300 problems. When solving so many random math problems, even if you have them memorized, you sometimes forget. Or maybe I truly don't have them memorized. Yeah, I actually don't have all of them memorized, I can just calculate these ones very quickly based on the ones I do have memorized. But anyway, even very simple ones, like 15x17, I might have a brain fart and just not remember. It is 255. I don't have that memorized. I calculate that by doing 15x15 which I do have memorized and is 225, and then adding 15x2 or adding 30.

So anyway, I installed this new app called FastMath, and it is harder and more competitive. The ceiling there is higher. I'm currently only in the top 20 people in most categories, and top 30 in other ones. I'm still in the top 10%, but it's not near the top. There's like 20 people ahead of me in these categories, which I'm not used to. I'm not used to scrolling down a LeaderBoards list because my name is not in the top position, like how it is in Quick Math Daily. I don't know if I can ever beat these top 3 people either, given 1 minute, the first place person is doing 2-3x more problems than me at my current level.

I also uninstalled Vocal Image. It is this voice training app. However, it is a paid app, and my 7-day trial ran out. So I'm done using it.

Probably due to the push-ups, but I feel good. Melancholic at times, but overall good. I am enjoying getting fit. Soon I will be able to post videos of me doing like 50-100+ push-ups in a row, and doing 20+ pull-ups and chin-ups in a row. I was able to do 45 push-ups in a row before, and I think 12 pull-ups and 12 chin-ups was the most I could do in a row, but I never posted videos of me doing this because I didn't feel like it was noteworthy enough. I want to reach 50 push-ups in a row first, and 20 pull-ups or ever 20 chin-ups in a row first, before I record videos and post myself.

I have to be careful of not getting injured though. I weigh around 200 pounds right now, slightly over 200 pounds from this morning due to having food in my stomach, yesterday I was 197 pounds in the morning. When I was able to do my most push-ups and pull-ups and chin-ups, I was around 175-183 pounds, in that range, and I am 20 pounds heavier now. So it would be a mistake to push myself. There is more pressure on all my joints and everything when doing these exercises at a heavier weight, but as I lose weight, I should be able to retain my strength, allowing me to do more.

This time I'm never fasting again. I'm going to lose weight slowly, as slow as possible, through just building muscle mainly. My weight loss will probably be at a pace of around 2 pounds per week. It will take around 2 months to get to 180 pounds, but it should be here faster than I realize. When I get to 180 pounds, if I stay consistent with my daily workouts and training, I should be able to do over 70 push-ups in a row, and probably over 15 pull-ups and chin-ups in a row, maybe even 20. I just view pull-ups and chin-ups as so difficult to do. I have a hard time imagining being able to do 20 in a row.

Anyway, I will do push-ups, a lot of push-ups. Maybe I will go back to doing 100 per day, and 30 pull-ups and chin-ups per day. The reason I stopped was that I would also do 50 floor to ceiling kettlebell overhead press, with two 25-pound kettlebells. This workout annoyed me and tired me out the most. It left me utterly exhausted.I lowered the amount I am doing of this to just 10 per day now, but it is still by far the hardest workout. Basically there are two kettlebells on the floor, I squat all the way down to pick them up, then I stand all the way up and then I lift the kettlebells all the way up to over my head, and then lower them back down to the ground, crouching all the way down again, and repeat. This is the most strenuous exercise, it works out everything, but it is so tiring.

Anyway, if I limit that exercise to just 10 per day, and then aim to do 100 push-ups, 30 pull-ups, and 30 chin-ups per day, I think that is doable. Although tomorrow I will try for 500 push-ups, and I will not be doing 30 pull-ups or 30 chin-ups just yet. I have a theory that doing push-ups also improves your pull-ups and chin-ups, but who knows. Reading online says it doesn't. I think it does even in a minimal way.
