Turned a Bad Day into Good

10:41 PM

I wasn't going to exercise today, but I did, and therefore turned this not-so-good-day into a good day!

I went for a push-ups max again today, and ended up doing 31 in a row. So last week I did 17 in a row and that was hard for me. Then I did 23 in a row a few days later. Now a few days later, I did 31 in a row. So my strength built up pretty quickly. This is due to muscle memory. My previous best in push-ups was 45 in a row. I am just slowly building my way back to that.

After 30 push-ups though, my arms start to really feel the burn and lactic acid building up, which is why I stopped at 31. I think I could have done a few more, but that was enough.

I also went for a plank max today, and held a plank for 2 minutes and 55 seconds. I wasn't aware of the time, or else I would have gone for 3 minutes. I went for a wall-sit max and held it for nearly 2 minutes. This was after going for a squat max, and I did 31 squats in a row. My legs were burnt out which is why I only lasted 2 minutes on a wall-sit. My previous best was more than 4 minutes.

I am thinking of going back to doing 30 pull-ups, 30 chin-ups, 60 push-ups, 60 squats, per day. I am 200 pounds now and can do 7 pull-ups and 7 chin-ups in a row, close to my previous best of 12 of each in a row, when I was 155-175 pounds. When I fasted from 175 pounds to 155 pounds, it didn't increase my strength at all, I couldn't do any more pull-ups or chin-ups despite weighing 20 pounds less. If I drop my weight down from 200 to 175 pounds, without fasting, my strength should increase and I should be able to do a lot more pull-ups and chin-ups in a row.

I am not going to be doing the 50 floor to ceiling kettle bell exercises per day, no way. The reason I stopped doing this many per day is because that exercise annoyed me. It's so hard and annoying. I might still do 60 kettlebell skull crushers though, because that is easy. But the floor to ceiling exercises are so hard.

At night time I went out and drove again and sang. I did my singing practice. It was great. I enjoy singing practice. This is all to improve my voice and one day have a voice average of 75hz or lower. I've seen some people claim their voice average is 70hz. Sigh. To be at that level, wow. my average today was around 92hz. It's alright. I think anything below 100hz is alright. Above 100hz is lacking. Below 90hz is good. Below 80hz is great. I want to get to a great level. 70hz is excellent. Even lower than 70hz is outstanding, but I don't know if such levels are possible for me. Right now it is just imagination.

I wonder if people can hear me singing while I'm driving? Like at a stop light and I am singing my head off, can people hear me? I wouldn't know.

Anyway I am pretty tired. Time to just go to sleep.
